Try the chocolate mint milkshake. It is delicious. The restaurant is accessible in El Centro. The inside is a bit dark but I enjoyed watching the Circe de Soilel on T.V.

We always go for the chocolate cake. The children enjoy the hot chocolate. This place has a bar atmosphere but we have been comfortable with the children. No biggie

Although in a good central location, this café has little desirable qualities. The coffee is so so, the music is too loud and the service is below average. There are many other choices!

Their hot chocolate stinks, not a place worth the visit. We have tasted hit chocolate all over the country and they are generally hit and miss. We tried cacao & canela based in TP reviews and are very disappointed. The fresh juices was mostly water and service just ok.

I was hesitant to get anything at this place as I felt it was overpriced but the hot chocolate really was delicious and perfect after hiking in the rain at las cajas. Mind you, I could have done without the morcel of mozzarella mine came with (I thought there would have been a more creative approach with the cheese). As... More

We only had desserts here and were quite pleased. The brownies ($2) were our favorite, with strawberries and chocolate drizzle. The coffee was pretty good too.

Cacao & Canela. Sigh. Stop in for a hot milk served with onr or two chocolate bars and make your own hot chocolate. WONDERFUL!! I wish we had this place in my home town in Southern California. It would do a landmark business.. If you are in Cuenca for their festivals, stop in at night and finish off your day... More

Great iced chocolate and coffee in a good location! We walked in on our Cuenca jaunt and enjoyed some great flavors and aromas. They have free wifi. The service is friendly and helpful and English is spoken here. Well priced.

I walked by this place like a dozen times and decided to try it once @ night.... It was great, i had a sandwich and juice for less than $5 bucks.... If you want a not-so-heavy meal at night this place is the right one!

A central, charming café, two loft like floors, and relaxed atmosphere for savouring the aromas and flavours of Ecuador's fine cocoa, coffee, and canella ( cinnamon ). Serving a unique integration of coffee beans, spices, alcohol, and chocolate to arouse your senses. The prices and service are very good.
