Touristy..yes, but the food and service here are fantastic and quite good value. We came without a booking and were initially seated in a sunless room on the right occupied by loud Americans. Our friend...from Chicago...said "I can't stand it" and we were quickly moved...More

Best meal we've had so far. We started with pork cracklings and fried potatoes. Just enough seasoning without going overboard. As entrees we ordered lomo saltado and alpaca skewers. The lomo saltado is steak marinated in soy sauce. It also came with delicious sides including...More

Upon a recommendation from our hotel we visited Pachapapa. What a great experience. The atmosphere is so cute, outdoor seating with heaters and small interior rooms. I order the guinea pig and the family had different meat dishes. We were all very pleased. The dessert...More

There is a lot of bad food in Cusco, but we enjoyed our meals here. Good atmosphere with music, food was quite good. Waiter was not the friendliest, seemed irritated that we were taking time to decide on wine and food.

There are amazing options in Cusco, but Pachapapa is the best choice, especially if you want to try the typical Cuy al Horno. Must go.

Our Air BnB host recommended this restaurant as one that has some local offerings on the menu. According to our server this included the wood-fired short ribs and alpaca cutlets, which were both delicious, but maybe a little overpriced. We sat out on the patio...More

Very good food and a wonderful atmosphere. They serve you fresh bread from their oven at the beginning of the meal with authentic sauces, which are delicious! The smoked trout with potatoes appetizer was really great! May favorite meal in Cuzco so far.

Yep, they have a tasty trout and Peruvian ceviche if I am not mistaken. My wife ordered the trout and was satisfied with the option!
