I have come here 3 times now during my short visit to Cusco. The food is incredible, big portions well priced. Great family service. I have had the local delicacy gunea pig, that's a taste one must Iike. The stuffed peppers is a must to taste as well as the trout.

I came here for the famous Cuy Al Horno and was not disappointed. Just know ahead of time that the dish takes an hour to cook but the experience is definitely worth it. Great, friendly service and a very tasty meal!

We've had cuy before in Lima but wanted to try it "closer to the source" in Cusco. This restaurant had excellent reviews so we booked a table for our first night. The food was excellent, as was the service. The waiter was friendly and made sure that my son's nut allergies were carefully noted by the kitchen team. On the... More

If you want to try the Cuy (and let's be honest, you have to give it a chance), it's probably the best place in Cusco to go. We were two and share one plate of Cuy (around 90 soles) which was plenty. It's really a fun experience because you can take pictures with the Cuy before eating it. The chef... More

We are here on our final night a day after completing the 4 day inca trek. As with most of Peruvian restaurants, they don't mess around with portions, so you won't leave hungry. We were recommended to try the alpaca, which is genuinely one of the best meats I've tried. We had a lovely waiter called Luciano who was really... More

Kusikuy presented us with the best food I tried in our two week stay in Cuzco. You absolutely must try the cuy there. I am practically drooling while remembering my meal there. Plus, the experience included excellent service by a friendly staff. Definitely a hidden gem of the city, so don't miss out!

It is a restaurant of Cusqueña food, and food of the world. We enjoyed exquisite dishes based on Quinua and Cuy baked (even though a bit shocking but delicious) Kusikuy is a good restaurant and its prices go with the quality of the food, although it is in a hidden place, as it is in the center of the city.... Stopped by here for lunch because we couldn't leave Peru without trying the cuy. We had the roasted cuy, along with the Peruvian beef soup and they were delicious. (Please call ahead 1 hr before for preparation of the cuy dish if you are planning). Luciano, the place owner extended his hospitality to us very well. The decor and ambiance... More
