Worth finding, upstairs off an alley way, simple decor, clean toilets (very nice!). Food salad tasty, sushi good - fresh and tasty. Few things not available which is reassuring for freshness. Juice refreshing. Replenished tea throughout the meal. Good find, price reasonable.

Food is good, but don't over order they dont allow you to take it with you!!! They put the warning on the last page that you won't see. We ordered quickly because we got here late, with the intentions of taking the rest home.

My friend and I wanted a light lunch, and being Cusco-born and bred chose this restaurant as the one to go to. The entrance is a little way down an alley full of stall vendors, and immediately you enter you get the feel of the place - Lots of wood, carefully placed Japanese ornaments and pictures, and a sense of... I was very excited for this place, since I really needed a break from South American food and I had been craving Asian food forever, but this didn't quite hit the mark. I had the oyakodon and in all honesty it tasted like it had been made without dashi, and you just can't make Japanese food without dashi. I wouldn't... More

We had the lunch menu and couldn't have left the place happier. The food was delicous, well and freshly prepared and the location is a nice, quiet and simple get away from the busy streets around Plaza de Armas.

Great Japanese just off the main square in Cusco. Can get very busy with large groups, so consider booking. Have some great vegetarian options. My partner and I enjoyed a huge Udon soup, great food for cool nights after days of strolling up and down Cusco

Was craving for some japanese food and decided to try this place out. Had the curry udon, tasted delicious; the only let down was the portion. I was not satisfied due to the small portion. Other than that, everything was perfect. Staff was friendly and smiley, great ambience. Price is reasonable (tourist price)

Kintaro is an excellent choice for vegetarians staying in Cusco. I went there probably three or four times during lunch. For 20 soles, you get miso soup, a small side salad and main course. Everything was excellent and very, very fresh.

This is a nice Japanese restaurant with a cool atmosphere. It's a little hard to find, but worth it once you do. I've been twice: the first time I ordered sushi. It was good but not prepared well--the rolls were WAY too big to eat and it was actually quite uncomfortable to eat sushi that way with a group of... More
