A good service and good food is found in this restaurant. Fish nuggets are the best and the cocona juice was incredibly enjoyable.

Great little joint, very popular understandably with Iquitos residents. A/c environment, interesting mural on the wall in the middle room with Spanish translations of some local words. Swift, friendly service. Huge portions (if you get through a soup first course you'll be lucky to finish the main course) with meat, fish and veggie options. Cold beer available as well as... More

Huasai is a bit more expensive than most menu but it is worth it. There is always a vegetarian option, which is also nice!

I sort of stumbled across the place and it's quite easy to walk past but once I walked in, it was absolutely jam packed of locals and Peruvians which is always a good sign and I had trouble even finding a table. It's not the usual over-priced bad quality traveller food I found a lot in Iquitos. They have a... More

Huasai is in the downtown area of Iquitos and half a block from Plaza de Armas. The service is really good and I appreciate that I don't have to worry about getting sick. The lunch options change everyday and the veggie dishes are very good.

This restaurant is very clean, food tastes amazing, impecable service. Owners are very atentive as well as wait staff, cordial and friendly. Have been going there four times in ten days and each time was better. Not expensive at all, fair prices. Wil start recommending them as I was quite impressed with the incredible quality of their food and I... More

We went to the Huasai restaurant to look at Grippa's paintings The proprietor didn't know much about them but rang Francisco so we could talk to him directly We then had a very pleasant lunch of chicken in a Peruvian style Great service and very friendly staff A good lunch stop in Uquitos just off the main square

I love this place for lunch. Lovely traditional Peruvian lunch. A little more pricey (15 soles) than many lunch menus in Iquitos, but the service is great and the atmosphere is always buzzing.

I ate at el Huasai several times while in Iquitos. During lunch it is filled with locals. They have a different menu everyday. Its 15 soles for an appetizer, an entree and a small juice. Its such a great place to try different foods that are typical in Peru. Everything I had was delicious! They do start to run out... More
