The band was very good, they were familiar with most South American genres. The dances were a good display of Peru culture. The food was bad, service was poor. We were "cram' together at very small tables. It was very uncomfortable to eat in dim lights and loud music. Entertainment was good, but the restaurant service needs to improve.

I went to Sachun last night with the missus and her family to Sachun, where we really had a great time. The cover charge was a little stiff, almost $10.00, but you get the various shows, such as the scissors dance, regional dances from differents Peruvian regions, the soloist singing peruvian songs, while at the same time you are drinking... We enjoyed watching the dancers perform the various dances from the different regions of Peru. The band was excellent although as the evening progressed so did the volume. So go early and make reservations.

I've been to sachun a few times now and ever time I go it's gotten more and more ridiculous and MORE EXPENSIVE. Every time the entrance fee raises it's now about 50 soles EACH... Including nothing, just the show that is mediocre. I'd rather go to barranco to see a live peruvian show and MUCH BETTER music. The drinks are... More

I've visited Sachun every time I come to La on vacation. This time I brought my husband who has never been to Peru. What a joyful experience it was. Great local dances that represent the different Peruvian regions. Great live music. There's a lot of interaction with the customers and the food was great too. Top notch customer service all... It is a happy place where you can share a meal with friends, enjoy the show, (typical Peruvian dances with costumes, orchestra, local singers and comedians. If you speak Spanish you will enjoy 100% of the show and if you do not speak the same way you will have fun. Not so formal, or with both shows with the restaurant... More

The music and dances were great! The Scissor Dancers (Danza de las Tijeras) where pretty cool and fairly athletic, not to mention dangerous with those mammoth-sized scissors in their hands. Lots of dancing and lots of great music. There were no less than 4 different featured musical groups/performers and they were all great. TIP: they allow you to bring your... More

What a wonderful experience! My sister and I went to Sachun on Saturday 8-18-12. They were running a promotion of $45.00 for food and show which was a bargain considering the great entertainment and the fine attention we received. The show was fantastic, the folklore dancers put heart and soul on every step, we enjoyed the "Huaylas", the "contrapunto" ,the... More

Me and more 6 people have been in Sachun "folkloric" restaurant in Lima , Peru in 15/04/11. The experience was terrible in all senses,...First, we were obliged to stay in a small table, with places enough for only 4 people, but we were 7, so you can imagine how discomfortable it was. This is because they make a "reservation" with... More
