Don't expect nothing other than great taste. Pretty simple place with great "pan con chicharrón" is a must have!

I have been a costumer of this place for many years, and, sadly, it seems to be getting worse, or perhaps I am getting better at judging food (no way). Its pan con chicharrón used to be so good that it didn't need zarza criolla, but now it really needs it. Maybe it's time to visit El Chinito, which supposedly... More

My friend who's regular here invited me for a quick lunch before a meeting. It was actually Kio 2 (it's located nearby - Av. Univesitaria 647) I was amazed with the simple but taste sandwich with grilled pork - pan con chicharron. It had fried potato (was it sweet potato, I'm not sure), grilled pork and comes with separate sauces... More

If you go for breakfast, make sure you go early, because it gets full pretty fast. The waiters are polite and the food gets to you incredibily fast. Is it the best pan con chicharrón in Lima? I don't know if it beats "EL CHINITO", I haven't been there, but it is definetely the best I have ever had.

I been visited Kio for many years and is hands down the best place to eat chicharron sandwich. Huge delicious portions, friendly staff and also have another tasty options (relleno, hamburger, hotdog) Super affordable prices (around $5) for the whole meal this small casual place is always busy but never disappoint me.

I went for breakfast and had the chicharrones with coffee and on the first bite knew that this would be a place that I would visit again. This place is busy all day long and they are very quick at turning tables over. Service was good and the prices are incredibly reasonable. S/ 9 for the chicharrone.

This is a busy little place, full of happy eaters. The buns were tasty, the meat juicy and plump and the sweet potato perfect to add a little texture!

I went here for a cheap lunch while in San Miguel. The place gtes packed. I was the last person to get in before they closed the gates for a while. I tried the Chicharron, with a Chicha Morada. If you're not counting calories, the burger was excellent! This was also the first time I tried Chicha Morada, and I... More

Their "Sandwich de Chicharron" is a top 5 in Lima Region, including Lurin. Moist, generous, tasty and well balanced with a tangy and crunchy "salsita criolla". Their prices make this place one of the best values in Lima's abundant food offerings.
