When I go to a restaurant, I'm looking for good food, yes, but also a good experience. This wasn't a good experience. They charged us 4 dollars for additional wasabi (we've never paid for wasabi in our lives) and when the bill came they had raised the price of a Japanese beer by 3 dollars. Their explanation was, well the... More

If you are tired, this Japanese restaurant offers a great meal for relaxing Japanese food. We were thrilled to find this restaurant before the long flight back to Japan.

In writing this review I am much influenced by Churachura-San, an expatriate Japanese gentleman who says he was missing Japanese food (July 2015). That good solid ramen, like chicken soup to a Westerner but much more sustaining. Then there is sukiyaki, even shabu-shabu. Not your nikkei fodder, but again, like any other national, sometimes you may feel like being fully... More

Fantastic and exquisite japanesse food. It is traditional and very well served. It is expensive for local people although totally worthy. If you like japanesse food it is a must on your list.

One of the best sushis of my life. A bit expensive for Peru but totally affordable in comparation with the prices in France. The makis were deliiiicious, service is very classy and respectful, very clean restaurant and good typical decoration ! As a sushi fanatic person, I'd definitely recommend this place

I live in latin america, but I am japanese. We are missing Japanese food and we decided to have japanese food. The food was authentic and sashimi, sushi was fresh. This is not trendy restaurant, but authentic japanese restaurant. you can get most of dishes including ramen. we really enjoyed. we will go back if we go to lima again.

On the occasions I get tired of the Peruvian-Japanese fusion type of sushi (e.g., Edo), I go to this slightly-off-the-been-path old school Japanese restaurant. No fusion here…just straight up some of the best pure Japanese food you will find in Lima. In my most recent visit, every other table was filled with Japanese people, and even the TV was broadcasting... More

This is one of my favorite old school authentic Japanese places in the city. You will find stuff here that you only find in Japan. The quality is good, the service is good, and despite being a little pricy, it's worth it. One indication is that normally the majority of the customers are Japanese. Try stuff from the specials as... More

I arrived early, the first person at 7 pm. The staff were very friendly and I tried my best to communicate in my poor Spanglish. I asked for toro. What I received appeared to be something akin to stewing steak. It was tough, chewy. I'm no sushi expert but I've eaten enough fatty tuna to expect something that melts in... More

Serves classic Japanese dishes. Probably one of the best in town when considering traditional dishes.
