Sra. Grimanesa has been an institution for gourmands (Fernan Aria and Gaston Acurio included) and recognized by "big people" (different Presidents of Peru) but most importantly "the rest of us" (kids, locals, and others (sober and lubricated) for years, with a few recipies perfected during decades. Today, now "off the street" and in a tax-paying and formal "local" yet still... More

Basic place with great food. Really good value. Just meat and potatoes. Sit at a bar. Beef heart served on skewers with boiled potatoes which have absorbed the juices. Delicious.

I had my first anticuchos here and they did not disappoint. I had the beef heart, which were cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Lima. Great job!

My wife and I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend of ours in the US who grew up in Peru. We took an Uber to the location and it was about 15 minutes from our hotel. We went early - around 5:30 pm. It opens at 5pm. There were only a couple of other locals in the... More

A very casual place to taste one of the more popular dishes in Peru, definitely a flavour that all meat lovers will love. They serve chicken and heart anticucho, the second option was the best for us.

This is the perfect evening meal accompanied by potatoes and a side of corn. And who knew grilled cow's hearts could be so delicious!

You get the choice of 2 or 3 skewers and, chicken or beef. The skewers were fantastic but only served with two halves of a potato. The personnel were a bit short with us with the exception of the founding lady who keeps an eye on the operation at al times. The atmosphere leaves you wanting and the price of... More

The food tasted really good, just and flavorful. However the service wasn't great, and considering this is fast food with a bad venue the prices were to high.

i like them but i don't think they are the best. in the corner of la mar and the block 8 there is a lady in a little street shop. those are 10000 times better... just 2 blocks from there
