The humus and baba ganoush were unseasoned, lacked, garlic, tahini and lemon juice. The vine leaf rolls were served hot and were coming apart. They had obviously been frozen and thawed and lacked textura. The fried filo rolls stuffed with cheese lacked flavor. The falafel on the other hand was crisp and tasty. The service was good

First of all the service was prompt and very friendly. Our waitress was well versed with the menu and could explain any questions we had. Now to the best part, the food. Exceptional, in fact I was with a Turkish friend who commented that the flavors were that of home. The portions are good, the food was well paced between... More

I know of only one other Middle Eastern Restaurant in the greater Lima area, and while there may be others, I haven´t found them yet. You should be aware that I have very high expectations for my Middle Eastern Food, as in Redwood City and Palo Alto, California, there are some excellent Eastern restaurants and they spoiled my palate. That... More

I've been here twice and enjoyed Alaturca both times. Always happy with the quality of food and size of the dishes. The service last time I went was especially impressive! Very reasonably priced. Don't overlook!

If you had enough regular european style and peruvian food in Lima, come try this one. The owners haul directly from Turkey, and the food shows it - great original turkish fare, at a very reasonable price.

Went there to eat a Dürüm. The staff was quick and polite; the ambience is adequate. The food, however, was only mediocre: the meat was dry and the rest a little tasteless. Even though, prices are comparable to those in Europe.

we haven't eaten at another turkish resturant in Lima, so just because of that it's worth the experience. nice (turkish) owners and wait staff, everything we've tried so far has been good. we keep going back every now and then.

This is an amazing place to go for lunch. They have a very reasonably-priced lunch menu. The food is delicious; the service is first-rate. The only downside is that it is quite small and that half of the seating is outside (not great in Lima winter, though not the end of the world).

I live in walking distance of Alaturca and go at least twice a month - it's our favorite neighborhood spot. There's outside seating year round, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious and fresh - hummus, babaganoush, kebabs, other Turkish dishes, and plenty of vegetarian options. Not to mention traditional desserts. The service can sometimes be a... More
