Our first meal in Urubamba, fine dining food, with trout tartare, alpaca carpaccio, pollo seco and steak, all fabulous and interesting. Lovely entry through the garden, great drinks list, overall a very pleasant place.

Half an hour later we returned and sure... More

Wonderful dinner at a reasonable price. Not the best restaurant in Peru but probably the best we experienced in MP/Sacred Valley.

Visited Huacatay for lunch after visiting towns and Inka ruins for the day and loved it. The place is charming with both indoor and outdoor seating (we opted for the later). The service is simple but excellent and the food was very good with new twists in traditional local fare. The gnocchi was excellent and the Alpaca Carpaccio was different... More

There are three restaurants Tambo del Inka recommends and El Huacatay is one of them. It has garden seating, patio seating and inside. Now, the first thing I am going to tell you is to Chill Out about the slow service. You will make it worst for your experience there. You start with bread and olives, really good. I had... More

El Huacatay is situated on a quiet street in the middle of town, but when you walk through the door, you effectively walk into a g garden, which is a nice oasis. There are inside and outside seats, depending on your group's wishes. The vibe is definitely on the funkier side, which is great, although the service seems to follow... More

The Pisco Sours were superb, the Peruvian dishes were beautifully presented, and the ambience was romantic.
