La Bottega features authentic Italian and many imported foods both on the menu and available for purchase deli style. They even have cannolis which I enjoy with a shot of Sambuca for desert. The pastas are good and authentic. Service is great we have eaten here many times. Waiting in South America is common it is just part of the... More

Very nice pastas friendly ambiance. Really recommend products that are sold there. Strongly recommend lasgnas and The raviolones. Just one thing, the food took to long. We waited about an hour for pasta. Family friendly

A restaurant that serves good Italian food, but which feels a little like you are sitting in what is mostly a delicatessen where people come to buy food to take away rather than an intimate restaurant. The food was tasty, but it's not my favourite Italian in Montevideo.

The panini and the sandwiches were good but the pasta and lasagna were not upto the mark. I was highly disappointed by the main course. I recommend this place for starters and trying out there bruschettas.

For several reasons, I travel to Uruguay often and I never miss the occasion of visiting La Bottega and try their genuine and creative menu. All the ingredients are 100% Italian, and not just that -- they are very jealous of the brands they import and sell to the public. Daniel Di Landro, owner of the restaurant, is fully dedicated... La bottega offers a good option of italian products (olive oil, sausages, aceto, etc....) and you can eat right there. You have to have time because everything is prepared in the moment. Spaghetti al funghi porcini is really good!
