Fine dining in a peaceful waterfront location. Attentive staff. Interesting history behind Tamarind House.

The restaurant is in a nice setting and the food was tasty. The downsides included poor to hopeless service and small portions (food and wine by the glass). So it's been ok-ish.

We went as a large group and received excellent timely service and beautiful tasty food. We returned 2 days later for a wonderful private brunch in their outdoor pavillon.

Probably the best seafood platter in the entire world is right here. Don't miss this place. It's so good just thinking about it makes my mouth water. And the view and ambiance and service are all wonderful. So it was perfect.

We had fish curry and crumbed fish. These were OK but nothing special. We did find, after we'd left, that our bill was about $20 over what our meal added up to and we couldn't think of anything that would have accounted for this. Of...More
