When you drive past you will think no one comes here to eat! Wrong! This place is amazing and a must try if your visiting Fiji. The curries are beautiful and how the locals have it. Cheap and just delicious we returned many times!

Brilliant tasting food and incredibly good value. Meals very quick to come and it is a genuine local experience. Do not go here if you are inclined to worry about how places look and health standards, it's a roadside restaurant don't expect more than that and you will love it!

the place is set as if you are sitting in your backyard with roadside views and the food is mostly raditional fiji-indian style cooking and presentation. all this gives you the atmosphre as if you are eating at a indian farmhouse in fijis interer. Tatas Roti and Spicy curries are very famous with locals and tourist alike.

Sick of hotel food? Want a great taste of local Indian cuisine? Then, Tata's is your spot. Favorited by locals, our friend who took us spent much of the meal saying hello and introducing us to other locals. Delicious, fresh preparations that feature daily specials for fish, chicken, etc. The prices are insanely low, another nice change from the over-priced... More

We went for dinner before the bula festival. The best curry i have ever had and wish it was easier for us to go back. Next time we are in Fiji it will definitely be at the top of the list!!

We have been eating at Tata's since 2010 and always had a great tasting meal and a good serve. Unfortunately, our last visit will be our last. The food was a real disappointment. The serving size of food was half of what it used to be. The dahl soup was tasteless as was the curry. The goat was hardly cooked... More

Very very disappointed. After reading good reviews we tried it. Requested 4 curries and water. Got charged for "plates" + large curries portions while they were definitely the small size. Note that we don't care of the price as far as it is justified, in that case it wasn't. On top of that, we were able to fill a "large"... More

When I was brought to Tata's for the first time, it took a lot of convincing to get me to agree walking in. It's literally a shack by the road and next to a river. I wasn't impressed with the location. There's a kitchen and an exposed veranda that is the seating area. An exposed sink to the left and... More

We used to live in Fiji and Tata's was always a place we'd visit for delicious curry. So, when we went on holiday to Fiji last month this was our first port of call. The curry is still quite tasty, but the vegetarian portions are really, really small. As a family we'd order either rice or roti with two veg... More

I was looking forward to a curry from Tata's all holiday. Did not disappoint. This is my go to place when in Fiji. It looks a little rustic but don't be put off.
