The dinner was an explosions of flavors - just marvelous what she was able to make out of local ingredients. The place is very small and is the perfect place for a anniversary celebration. If you come early enough you will catch a stunning sunset with your first course. The chef is very responsive to your dietary requirements. Just ask... More

My daughter and I rang early in the day and were able to be accommodated for an evening meal by our host, originally from Japan. The setting was delightful in a beach hut with a sand floor looking to a fine sunset. Three courses of Fijian ingredients with Japanese style provided us with probably the nicest and most authentic Fijian... More

We had a 3-couse set menu based on fresh ingredients that were available in the market that day. Everything was delicious, even though the cooking facilities are minimal. Reservations essential by noon. After dinner we walked on the beach below the hut and watched the sun set. It was a great evening.

We ate dinner here our last day in Fiji and are so glad we went! In the past, the Cafe only served guests staying at Beach Cocomo Resort, but in the last 3-4 years, they have opened their doors to outside guests. Reservations by phone by noon the same day are required since this is a very small restaurant and... More

Marie is the chef and cooks with a flair usually found only in top restaurants. There are only a couple of tables and booking is essential. Look past the tiny kitchen and the sand floor and enjoy the view out to the reef. Sit back and be amazed at the quality of the fresh food, prepared with a Korean twist.... More

I found this amazing place thanks to TripAdvisor. We made a reservation through our hotel and altough the restaurant was normally already closed, we were able to make a reservation. Once arrived at the Restaurant, we were welcomed very warmly and seated in a very cute and cozy outdoor restaurant with only 3 tables!! One dish was better than the... More

We stayed here primarily because of the great reviews about the food. We were left disappointed. 2 dinners on 2 nights both not that good and both in the same sauce, even though 1 night was fish and the next night was minced meat. Breakfast was the same every morning no choice, 1 boiled egg a small portion of fruit... More

We managed to squeeze in two evening meals with Marie at Beach Cocomo during our short stay on the Coral Coast. The meals were absolutely delicious and as it is not a set menu Marie finds what produce is available and makes the meals accordingly, something she does brilliantly. They have two bures available for guests as well so their... More
