a very good Traditional Bulgarian restaurant , the menu has a lot of traditional dishes and there is also a band moving from table to table playing Bulgarian folk music. We had a very enjoyable evening there.

This restaurant is a nice little traditional Bulgarian place with live music most nights (folk type with an accordion, drum, pipe and singing). It has the same menu as the hadjidraganovite cellars, although I felt that the cellars had more atmosphere than this one, but...More

We were staying in a hotel just round the corner so chose to eat here as we always like to try some traditional local food when we are away. The restaurant is decorated in a traditional style and is very atmospheric (although a little touristy)...More

The building itself is fantastic and very well decorated. The food choice is extensive and from what I had, tasted amazing. I had a tradition pork dish baked in a Bulgaria earthware pot - a Bulgarian dish a really recommend. I would definitely go back...More

Lunch time is busy because of the lunch menu served. There are strange dishes for foreigners - lamb tongues, sheep brains... Worth of trying. Perfectly cooked Bulgarian dishes. One of the best tarators }cold cucumber soup) I had.

We were staying in a hotel just 1 min walk away and came to this place at least 3-4 times, for both lunch and dinner. - Lunch time is a lot quieter as the live band is not playing and there are far less people....More

We've ordered pork knuckle with vegetable(like stew style), chop pork and pork fillet. Knuckle and chop pork was nice but pork fillet was too salty. So, we asked them to replace food but they bring it again without anything. So, I've return it. Shopska salad...More

I loved this place. From the decor to the little touch that was providing you with a bowl of ice to cool your drinks (I used this to stop the profuse sweating as Sofia was undergoing a heatwave). There is a band that play music...More

Description
The restaurant is in the center of Sofia consisted of four restored houses from 1866 year representing architecture and style from beautiful Bulgarian towns Koprivshtitsa, Zheravna, Melnik and Bansko, combined with a joint yard and a beautiful Summer garden. We offer extensive menu with traditional Bulgarian recipes and Bulgarian wines. In most the evenings there is live folklore music.
