Traditional decor. Good food. Good service as well. It was one of the fantastic evenings in the country. I'd certainly recommend this place for a unique experience.

Went there with 5 friends and was impressed. Ordered the dish for 4, soup in bread and salads. All of them were very good. Recommend the sausages. Everything came quickly, even though we were in between dinner and lunch. The food was definitely cheap for...More

We went for dinner and the stuff were totally rude. I think that the design earns you and makes you feel that the prices are good... The food is not something very special and I believe that there are better places to have a dinner.

Our group totally enjoyed dinner here. It was served on a huge platter of grilled sausages, and other kinds of meat. I enjoyed the vegetable most. It has attractive interiors and it was certainly worth the trip.

This place is amazing! I went with my family and ordered a 4-people-dish with meat and vegetables. The portion was huuuge and everything was perfect, great meat! Plus, a nice and friendly staff! Definitely recommended! :) PS: the photo shows only half of the meal!

I was looking for an authentic location with local food in the neighbourhood of the Ramada Hotel and ended up in the Hadjidraganovite kashti / Hadjidraganovite Houses. It's a really interesting location, somehow like a small heritage museum. The staff was very friendly, competent and...More

Restaurant serves traditional Bulgarian items, mostly barbecue and grilled items. Great decor, almost like a museum. Service understandably slow at times. Somewhat touristy, but none the less a great dining experience.

The restaurant is in the center of Sofia consisted of four restored houses from 1866 year representing architecture and style from beautiful Bulgarian towns Koprivshtitsa, Zheravna, Melnik and Bansko, combined with a joint yard and a beautiful Summer garden. We offer extensive menu with traditional Bulgarian recipes and Bulgarian wines. In the evenings from Tuesday till Saturday there is live folklore music. “Hadjidraganovite kashti” the way Bulgarian people pronounce it (means Hadzhi Dragan’s Houses) is like a time machine that will take you to the old days of 1866 year and you will get the chance to learn about the customs and culture of the country and to experience a culinary journey with Bulgarian specialties. The legend says that Hadji Dragan - a trader of wool and silk - lived a hundred years ago. He traveled around the country for a lot of years and went round a lot of districts. He was greatly impressed at the beauty of the Bulgarian houses ... (see legend at the web site)
