I recommend this Romanian place! You have to try the mix grill, stuffed cabbage and the house desert!

"La Ceaunu' Crapat" is the place where you can enjoy in a traditional ambiance, from soup, pastrami, sausages, fish dishes, several kinds of vegetable stew or sweets, to tasting house, made after a recipe that puts together the most popular and best dishes Romanian.

Meal - for a quick lunch when you have the office close by, this is a very good choice. I was the only one that had traditional ”ciorbă” (similar to soup, just more ingredients), the rest of my colleagues (we were 5) took the exact same thing, beans based. It was all excellent, maybe the pickles they had were a... More

The restaurant is placed in a very nice old Romanian house, beautifully restored, in a quiet neighborhood even though in the heart of Bucharest. They serve traditional Romanian food, which is average at most, and inconsistent from one visit to another, while service is from an old era - waiters are doing their best to be helpful, but I believe... I recommend you to go there for traditional food prepared in "old style". Food quality is above average but not very much above... staff is friendly but doesn't have a professional outfit

I was here with a large group, for a party. The interior is very outdated and it doesn't feel like a traditional place as they advertise it. The music is almost nonexistent as the speakers are very small. The food had nothing to do with traditional dishes and it was scarce, nothing compared to the price I paid. The head... More

I start by saying that i know Bucharest cuisine very very well. I ended up in here in a Sunday afternoon, by mistake, with a group of 9 people. As the name implies, is a traditional restaurant, but i can say that here, the traditions have been altered! Nothing special about the food, the service or the place. Yes, it... More

The place is great (location and building wise). But, the "romanian atmosphere" is quite forced, it looks kind of kitschy. I personally didn't like the food I chose (beef jerky) - and I eat only beef, I really know how it should taste. My friends didn't like the soup but they said that the desert (the traditional "papanasi") was the... More
