Don't waste your time coming to this place. We sat for over an hour watching others eat that came in after us. Service is lousy here.

If you don't get anything else while at the Augusta Pub, try their Sauerkraut Ball appetizer! You get 5 generously-sized panko-crusted sauerkraut balls for a decent price. They have a nice selection of other appetizers, too. Our party really enjoyed the grilled quesadilla (YES, the quesadilla had grill marks!). I also had onion rings, which were jumbo-sized and seemed beer... More

Augusta Irish Pub is in the heart of the quaint little two-block area right on the Ohio River. We went at about 5:30, moderately busy with a few more people eating outside than inside. Your basic more-American-than-Irish pub menu and good drinks menu. We had the loaded potato skins which were very good, and we split the fish and chips.... More

Great pork BBQ prepared by local Bracken County gal whose has won many awards for her BBQ. Great beers on tap, especially the KY Bourbon Ale. Nice atmosphere, pleasant waitress, but a little slow. I would not recommend the blackberry dumpling, it was too doughy and very little blackberries. Other than that the BBQ sandwiches, saratoga chips, and BLT sandwich... More

If you are visiting Bracken County or Augusta, this is your best bet for an adult draft beverage or drink. That being said, if you're a regular visitor of pubs during your travels, you might wonder a bit about this place. Apparently it's the best we can do around here.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place is clean and has good atmosphere. Menu is pretty much American not much Irish, which was fine with us. She had a salad and I had the Ruben, both were good. The waitress was very nice, but food was a little slow to arrive. They have... More

We visited for lunch, so our party ordered sandwiches. Before our sandwiches, though, our friends HIGHLY recommended the Sauerkraut Ball appetizer. My husband is a big kraut fan.......me, not at ALL. Well, these Sauerkraut Balls were very delicious! They must have been handmade there, because they had that handmade quality about them with a crispy panko breadcrumb coating. The middle... More

Stayed at the Parkview Inn, in Augusta, last October. Inn was nice but not the food. We (my sister and I) were hungry so we went exploring to find a place to eat. Well, we didn't have to go far... just cut through the Inn's back parking lot and there it was! The Augusta Pub! Talk about a great burger,... More

The food is good, but the service can be slow if they have any type of crowd on a Sunday after noon. But is a good place to go if you are not is a rush,

BLT - stacked high with curly bacon - nothing outstanding. Friendly server - ate outside on patio - Heritage Days festival going on.
