One of the rare hidden gems of Georgian cuisine in Kyiv. Strongly recommended. The prices are below average for Kyiv and the food quality is superb. It is, however, located in the basement and I am not sure if there is any terrace space during summer

The food is too good. I want to cry! Music is also nice in the background. There were family dinning together, but also good for a romantic dinner. 超级好吃。格鲁吉亚餐,点了一个包子和羊肉 BBQ, 有点在国内吃小笼包和羊肉串的赶脚。激动的就差亲亲服务员了。我太幸福了。

I think this is my new favorite restaurant in Kiev. I've been a fan of Georgian food since my first trip to Tbilisi and this place does it right. Include the live entertainment, the homemade wine, and you have yourself a great evening.

I love this place. Right across from Zhitniy Ryonk and down in the basement (ok, I don't love that part), but otherwise, the Georgian food is out of this world. The waitresses charming and attentive, the wine selection excellent (what would you expect?) and everything I have ever had from the menu was excellent. Meat, fish, soup, khatchapuri - just... More

I love this place. It is a break from Ukrainian stuff. Very simple Georgian feel to it. The family who ran it 10 years ago runs it today. We get the same stuff every time and every time it is tasty and consistent. The three cheese hachapury and the mushrooms with cheese were great. The veal chashooshooly it just sooooo... More

If you are a fan of authentic Georgian food, then this is the place to go! The place is small and a bit hard to find, but so worth it – the service is quick, and the food is absolutely amazing! Go for the pkhali, khachapuri and satsivi! Honestly, anything you go for will be fantastic. The house wine is a... More

Everything is really tasty and fresh made. All dishes are traditional and waiters can recommend what you will like the most. They have homemade wine, brought from Georgia. Everyone should visit this place to try smth new or to have some nostalgia about beautiful land called Saqartvelo

Whatever your choice from Nikala's prolific menu, you'll be captured by the richness of taste of their dishes! Make sure you try their khinkali (Georgian dumplings) and khachapuri (cheese pies). Generous serves, too!

It is really a bummer Cafe Nikala does not have a better location. And perhaps if it would pay attention to minor details it would be a more inviting restaurant. I must disclose that my opinion and review was influenced by my Ukrainian friends who have spent time in Georgia as well. The food was incredibly good and a new... More
