We were pleasantly surprised of how good the food was at this restaurant. Started with a pisco sour to get the appetite going and their selection of “tiraditas” (thinly sliced fish with special sauces) hit the spot. Their seafood parrillada was more than three of us could handle. Service was excellent and location very quaint. Needless to say we have already been back for more

If you're looking for a place that offers delicious Peruvian food specialty seafood this is your place. I tried the octopus and a ceviche with tiger milk, both were delicious. Try the purple chicha to drink, it's a local Peruvian drink with no alcohol.

We just happened upon this restaurant and are most happy we did! A couple of the best dining experiences that my wife and I have enjoyed were in Lima so we decided to sit down to a late lunch. The Picante De Cameron was terrific and my wife's A La Chalaquita Con Scallops was quite good as well. We're definitely coming back for a fuller, dinner experience.

I found the food delicious, with good portions and a worthwhile price. However, the waiter's service that day was a little slower than expected, which surprised me given that on previous visits the service has been excellent. Despite that, the place is nice and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

We have been living in San Salvador since early December 2018 and have tried several restaurants in order to find a good one. A lo Peruano fits the bill. The only complaint I have is the penetrating music they play - PLEASE DON'T! The food is excellent, the service is more than first class and the cost is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Its good, its really good, you wish your stomach could eat more. Like we mentioned this is the only peruvian rest in the city runned by Peruvians, with Tinku coming close to in second place, all other options are just corporate pop up experiments trying an incursion in the fad of the worlds most colorful and tasty food from Lima and its surroundings. The fact that only here will you feel that you can experience geniune and at the same time real chef style fusión of flavors that melt in your mouth, the tequeńos with hen aji will male you feel at home, but the tempura shrimp with Panko sauce over mashed sweet potato will twist your eyes as each flavor hits your taste buds, or go basic with the table grill of alioli and cilantro seafood, many options to go crazy, and many styles like the tiraditos, ceviches and causas for a lunch after a hard night, or the rice and noodle options for family dining. And the best part still waiting at the end, dont dare eat and not leave soace for a peruvian suspiro limeńo dessert cup.

Servers in general have a great service attitude, very welcoming, pleasing and amicable. Services is also very quick. Meals are generously served with authentic flavors and good presentation. I recommend the Lomo Saltado, excellent choice, great flavor. That unique umami flavor makes it the real deal! The restaurant ambiance is OK, in some areas a little warmer than appreciated, specially for a very warm city such as San Salvador, but OK.

Great food and service! Beautiful decor clean and lovely ambiance. I can see why there’s so many positive reviews. We tried a lot of different options and they were all delicious. Lomo saltado and the fish ceviche were highlights but not one morsel of all the dishes we ordered was left. I will absolutely return!

Great food!!! We went to their new place at Santa Elena. Same excellent menu, causas are incredible and my wife enjoyed tacu tacu. If I may suggest, get a wine collection to offer.

Excellent cuisine, one of the best in terms of taste wise! The causas and the ceviches are a must. Paintings in the decor are beautiful. Has a decent wine selection Parking could be difficult but biggest suggestion is tableware and napkins should be well care for and not just paper napkins Overall highly recommended

We decided to go here on a whim, having passed it a few times. When we arrived the place was packed which is always a good sign - but they managed to find us a table in the corner. The restaurant is quaint with lots of nooks and crannies so not just a big 'hall style'. Menu was all in Spanish which might be a problem for some tourists who cannot speak the lingo. Loads of choice, especially fish, prawns and squid. We opted for the beef tacu tacu and the beef 'lomo saltado'. Despite the restaurant being full, the dishes arrived in about 15 minutes and the meat was done perfectly. Never having tried this before we were both eager to get stuck in. OMG! An explosion of flavours (a previous review said similar and was not wrong) and an incredible assault on the tastebuds. The combination of tasty meat, rice, vegetables al dente and juice was simply incredible, from the first to the last mouthful. The bill was astonishingly reasonable - just over 20USD per head with beers but no starter. Service was very good - perfectly timed visits without being intrusive or annoying. The owner also came around to check things were ok, and you could tell he took great pride in ensuring everyone had a great experience. For a dining out experience and value for money this is right up there with the best. Without a doubt we will be back and are eager to try the other dishes. Would I recommend this place? You bet, as long as it still means we can get in when we need to! 😜
