Enjoyed a very nice lunch with my wife here. Completely recommend their salads, the appetizer with octupus in cups. Delicioso! They were very busy but the service was right on the spot, we really enjoyed the whole experience.

One of the best Japanese places in El Salvador

El Salvador does not have the most incredible sushi like the U.S. or other countries, but Koi will for sure kill your Japanese cravings. Food is good, service is excellent and the restaurant is super pretty and perfectly located. Is it the best sushi I have ever had? no Do I still love it? YES I go here often and it never disappoints!!!!

Koi not a first class Sushi Dining Experience

Koi provides both inside and outside dining options in the Torre Futura (World Trade Center) plaza. The price is very reasonable and the fish seemed to be fresh but the Sashimi cuts were too thick, the presentation not attractive. When I asked for hot sake, they waiter seemed confused (I was dining with a local so language wasn't the problem) and I finally got a small bottle of hot sake that I assume was just put in a microwave to warm. I was not impressed.

Bad Quality of Food (not fresh!)

I ordered 4 sushi rolls (spider, volcano, plantain, and rock shrimp) for delivery; the order arrived after 1 hour which is OK, but the quality of the food was horrible. I was not able to eat more than 5 rolls. The anguila sauce seemed like jelly and old, while the sushi was not fresh neither the ingredientes (crab, shrimp, avocado, etc). Really bad experience overall and really disappointed with food quality. I am still hungry but cannot eat the sushi since the rice is really dry. Furthermore, instead of bringing Mayo chipotle for one roll, they sent honey mustard. Will never order again and really do not recommended it.

To be honest let's start with the fact that Sushi in general in San Salvador is not as good as to what we're accustomed in the US, having said that, this place was pretty good for San Salvador. It is a very nice restaurant, it has a very good waiting staff, they have good presentation and a varied sushi menu. The prices are much more economical than the US. The truth is that most people that I know would have found the place as good as anything they've been too, I on the other hand am much more critical and pickier than most when it comes to my Sushi. I would have no problem visiting here again next time I'm in San Salvador.

Did Not Meet My Expectations

I ordered food to go after reading the great reviews. I ordered the beef wonton appetizer and the kung pow chicken. The wonton were stuffed with ground beef and not much else, the sweet sauce was not a good accompaniment. The kung pow chicken was breaded, not good, in a spicy sauce with way too many peanuts. The sauce did not taste homemade. The food was almost like microwavable frozen food. I ended up throwing most of it out, waste of money.

Koi is my favourite Sushi place. We keep returning. The various Koi restaurants are nice, service and staff is always pleasant, the prices are reasonable. Our choice, when we feel like having sushi.

Delicious

I have visited this place many time and everything is good. they have many food options from entrances to desserts. I particularly prefer the sashimi’s and sushi rolls. The place is nice and the service crew are very kind and friendly. The dishes are good in flavor and presentation and The prices are according to what yo get. I definitely recommend it.

Great food and variety

The food was delicious and fresh and the menu has a wide variety of healthy-ish options for people who are on diets or wish to eat healthier. The service was also very good, we didn't have to wait much for the food to come. And the prices vary but their kind of high overall.

Not particularly my favourite sushi but it’s the better option in San Salvador. Service is excellent and friendly. Do not like cheese in my sushi but they are very good at leaving it out.

Great Sushi
