Outstanding. A real gem in Managua. Met Don Candido himself and treated us like family. Food was great, atmosphere was great. Very classy. I’m from New York and it would challenge the best N.Y. has to offer. Viva la Don Candido!!

Great service. Great food . Didn’t even feel like being in Managua. The atmosphere and ambience is 5-star. The live music at lunch time just exemplified the experience.

Great steak - but quite pricey

This place could’ve so easily been a five. The food was delicious and the service was good. Here was the problem. This is a very high-class restaurant with jazz music playing in the background high and furniture and when you go to a place like this and pay the prices you do you expect a nice experience and me and my girlfriend we’re having a great time enjoying a food And atmosphere. That was until a family showed up and started playing videos on the telephone to appease their two-year-old child right next to us. I am OK with this but the level of volume was very disturbing and quite rude. I asked the waiter if he could go make a suggestion and lower the volume or put on some air phones. He returned with a solution which was that he could move us. However we were in the middle of our meal and the other family had just arrived and he makes the suggestion. well needless to say we hurry up and ate and got our bill. The food was enjoyable however expensive. And I don’t mind expensive as long as it’s enjoyable. I don’t think I’ll ever come back lots of other options to try.

Always been and has been great But last time not good. Prices for Nicaragua ara really high. Even though its nice and I will be back. But the tines i have been before much better

Very good beef

I ate here twice while visiting Nicaragua. The first time the food was just so-so, but the second time the steak was delicious. They have a nice selection of wine as well.

Excellent Food; Sneaky Service

The food is nothing short of excellent; I mainly had fish and seafood, which were above average. They have very good imported wines and the atmosphere is very nice. Beware, though, of a trick some of the waiters pull. They offer you an appetizer that's not on the menu. If you don't ask for the price ahead of ordering it, at the end they might charge $30 or $40 (US$) for a small plate of ham and cheese.

Expensive Mistake....

I am referring to the one in galerias.The waiter was very nice and although the main attraction is beef, they have a very extensive menu, including many seafood and other meats. BIG MISTAKE, maybe they should stick with steaks/beef cuts because that is the one thing they can do. I ordered baby back ribs (disastrous, pink, undercooked) and someone in my party ordered Corvina filet (disastrous, pink fish, undercooked, came back in pieces tasting like burnt butter). The appetizers were good though.... Then again, expensive lunch for 2 at $85 (pricey for Managua) for undercooked, not a good meal. JUST GO THERE FOR STEAK and hope it goes well. I don't think I am up for it.... Hope they can fix it.

Lies about the menu

I have tried this restaurant three times as I live close. I am referring to the one in galerias. Carlos was a good waiter. I went tonight and they lied to us three times about what was available and then when we finally ordered they told us our we ordered incorrectly. We did not. We asked for the manger who basically did nothing. I don’t think I will spend another dollar here. I caution future people they may just want to go to the better steakhouse next door. I really did like the order of all you can eat steak but tonight they told me the pork they brought out was brisket and I was not allowed to order steak or seafood. Thanks for the good times candido I will be at porterhouse or churrasco from now on thanks for nothing. Signed everyone.

Great Food and Sangria

My wife and I have eaten here twice and the food has been exceptional both times. I can not recommend one thing over another because everything has been very good and cooked to exactly how we prefer. They have a nice upstairs area that is quiet and relaxing, the wait staff is professional and very knowledgeable.
