Don't plan on eating here as the hi-lite of your visit to the Panama Canal...it is not worth talking about. Eat here only, if left your hotel hungry and didn't plan on having a great meal later in the day.

I went with a friend who lives nearby and goes because of it's convenient proximity. For me it was one of the rare instances in Panama where the service was actually much better than the meal. I was my friends guest, but I found the menu a bit pricey compared to similar restaurants here.

A group of twelve of us dined here one night though some had eaten here before in smaller groups. We were greeted by friendly staff, seated and made our drinks order from the extensive cocktail wine and beer menu. The cocktails were superb, the first three selections from the wine list proved not to be available as indeed did the... More

The tortellini dish sounded good, allegedly stuffed with a mixture of punchy mediterranean flavours. But in fact it was a bowl of undercooked (could taste the dough) pasta in a load of gunky cheese sauce. My burger, meanwhile, was cooked right through to dry. The fries were okay. The restaurant is a soulless modern barn of a place, and not... More

12 of us for dinner at the Grand Canal Cafe. Looked very promising at first. Extensive wine list. Tried to order 3 different bottles off the list. Each time the waiter ran off for about 5 minutes only to return with the news that they did not have the wine we asked for. So... wine list extensive if you like... More

Delicious Sushi selection, good pastas and many other dishes. Excellent wine list. They have great salads too our favourite bein a green salad... More

Me and the family decided to visit this place, one of my daughters had already visited it and gave us a good review. We arrived at 8pm, there was plenty of parking, the place was basically empty, we sat by a window in comfortable although slightly tall chairs, if you don't like having your feet hanging, stay away from the...
