Had dinner recently at this restaurant and was concerned with some of the reviews. We ate on the outdoor patio though could have eaten inside. There were some wonderful choices on the menu, but we chose the braised lamb and it was very good. It is kind of pricy but they also provide a menu with daily specials and these seem... More

Quality of cooking was average low. the chef forgot to cook the garlic and the food tasted like strong raw garlic all the way! I left two of the three chops because it was uneatable! My wife ordered an Angus steak with Bernese Sauce and a brown porto sauce was brought, same color as mine! the Rösti was cooked on... More

Once (to me) a solid, beloved and the french reference to good fare for many years; it is nie definitely on a slide to blah...Stick strictly to french cuisine dishes, to the superb wine list or otherwise you expose yourself to a lousy, poorly done, overpriced and bland rib eye that likey was just trimmed jarrete? I should have turned... More

Having lived in Geneva Switzerland for 8 years I did not go to this restaurant for cheese fondue or raclette but both are on the menu and from what I saw at the next table done exactly as in Switzerland. My veal in a cream sauce was excellent. This restaurant has probably one of the biggest if not the biggest... More

Few places have seen the type of transformation over the last two decades as Panama. The towering skyscrapers rival Singapore, and the high end restaurants are reminiscent of Barcelona. However, one place that has not changed has been the Rincon Suizo. Once the 'consulate' of the affluent Swiss expat community, it is still a haven of fine Swiss food. The... More

Rincon Suizo shares the space with other restaurants owned by the same chef. We wanted to have fondue so we reserved a table in the "Swiss" part of the restaurant. It was in the 2nd level wih about 6 tables. We ordered the rosti and the onion soup for starters and the cheese fondue for our mai main meal. They... More

We had 2 different people tell us we had to go to Rincon Suizo, so we figured we had to give it a shot. It should be noted that the sign out front actually says "Restaurante 1985 & Rincón Suizo", because it's 2 restaurants in the same building. Each restaurant is different, which is interesting. Rincon Suizo is a Swiss... More

Even the traditional Swiss card play table carpet was there.... Excellent food and a remarkable wine list. We enjoyed a great evening in the ''carnotzet'' and an interesting discussion with the longtime Swiss owner - will definitely be back when next time in Panama City.....
