I was travelling with a vegetarian and we ordered the corn and egg soup -- but it came with chicken (and Ming, the owner/manager knew she was vegetarian so that was a bit disappointing). That said, I really enjoyed the soup but it was a...serving for about 10-12 people! All of the dishes are quite large so you really need to go with other people or you will be limiting yourself as to what you can eat (unless you want leftovers to take home). The iron pan fried pork is peppery and tasty. The sweet and sour pork is also quite good. Mixed seafood was lovely. Fried rice is tasty. The friend noodles are actually just fried instant noodles which was a bit disappointing.
We ate here three times during the week we were in Tuvalu as there really aren't many more options.More
We ate twice here, and food quality was somewhat inconsistent. The first day, our meal was delicious. The second day, it was overly salted and sweet, even though one of the dishes was exactly the same. Seems popular with the locals who bring their own...plates to pick up the food.More
This place has tasty food even with limited access to produce. The share plate meals are delicious especially the fresh steamed fish dish, the salt and pepper squid, and the stir fried Chinese vegetables. Although these dishes may not always be available, they are worth...asking for just in case. We’ve had dinner there every night. The chop suey is good too even though veggies are limited to cabbage and carrots.More
I was hosted for a business lunch here recently, and really enjoyed the fresh succulent seafood and Chinese style banquet. Although there are few options on the atoll, this place is definitely worth a visit. Good service, piping hot food and great local hospitality.
Very happy with our celebratory dinner here on the last night with chop suey pork on rice of great value and fairly fresh tasting chicken and beef dishes (which is an accomplishment in itself since the transportation time required to import meat), pork on the...other hand is locally produced.
We also tried food from another Chinese place that tasted nowhere near as fresh with the breaded pieces of meat tasting more like rubber. 3Ts is the clear winner in Tuvalu, not to be missed!More
I only found two restaurants on the island (apart from the hotels), this on the first floor of a building is quite good. I ate chicken with noodles and a soda, fast service, only two tables occupied. price: 10 australian dollars.
