Were in town and asked at our hotel for a local recommendation for Cajun food. When we got there, the restaurant was almost empty. They were out of the local beer, and were also out of other types of beer. I asked for a White Russian and my husband had to explain to our waitress what went into it. When... More

Stumbled across this place at the lunch invitation of a friend that lives in the area. Mandeville is on the northshore of Lake Pontchartrain (affectionately referred to as 'The Nothshore') here. A very affluent area that has seen an incredible increase in population, traffic and commerce (much to the chagrin of those who lived here before the storm) since Hurricane... More

After arriving early at our resort and then fighting airport traffic to pick up my wife's cousin we finally were near the resort and famished. We all like seafood and selected this cafe as it was on our route. A wise decision. Our server Briana was gracious and helped us greatly with our selection of a seafood platter for two... More

Arrived after a long drive from Tallahassee-- we were beat. Camellias is quiet and wasn't busy.. Food was great and really picked us up to continue for a few more miles.. Our first time there but we will keep this in our itinerary for the next trip west..

This is a preferred lunch spot among my friends and I. Great food, generous portions and helpful, attentive wait staff. The salads are huge and delicious. My favorite is the fried chicken club sandwich!

Went for Monday lunch buffet. Food was very good. Salad, beans, dessert, macaroni, fried chicken, fried catfish, cornbread all included. Best value in town for lunch. Even better was the taste and the friendly service. Will be back for sure!!

Fun decor, lots of parking, great daily bargains, and the steaks were worthy of note. We've enjoyed lots of fried food during our southern states visit and were ready for steak. I doubt if you can beat the bargain at Camellia's. The rib-eyes were prepared as requested, very flavorful, and large enough for leftovers, at least for me; my husband... More

We had Thanksgiving Dinner at this restaurant. Oh my did they have a feast to make a Grandmother proud. Oysters, shrimp, turkey, dressing, all the fixings and the desserts were absolutely wonderful.
