Drove by in November 2020 and place looked closed although restaurants were allowed to be open with indoor and outdoor seating.i thought it odd they were closed but figured they didn’t open during the week due to low traffic or other Covid-related issues. However planned...to meet a friend on a Friday afternoon and found Paladar had gone out of business at this location. Sad as their happy hours were very good.More

There were two options for dining at Paladar. Customers could make an indoor dining reservation or choose to carry out with the option of using one of their outdoor tables. We chose to carry out. The two servers were diligent regarding the cleaning of tables...and even had signs to let customers know when the cleaned table would be ready after they had disinfected the given area. We really enjoyed the queso and our main dishes were delicious. I did not receive an itemized receipt and do like the option of checking over the bill but otherwise, we had a great dining experience.More

Poor cooking oil quality. They can not even tell you what kind of oil they use. Nice location. Not authenticlatin cooking style.

This is long, but I advise viewers to read this review. I personally love it when I have a drink spilled in my purse, all over my phone and wallet... last night my friend and I had the happy hour flight special and the waitress...we had was nice, but tipped over one of the flight drinks completely in my purse (I didn’t make it a huge deal because I could tell she was upset, I was trying to be polite by not making a whole ordeal out of it even though it was a complete mess) and didn’t even had the graciousness for comping our check. She gave a replacement for the glass that tipped in my purse, fine. Although, didn’t even go out of her way to make sure we were a priority. I guess my kindness made her feel she didn’t need to go out of her way to make sure we had simple things like napkins. We had to wait for the bus boy and kitchen staff to see if we needed anything about like 8, 10 mins after this whole ordeal happened. And yes, left us without napkins after everything, I went to the bathroom to clean myself up thinking she would bring us replacement cloth napkins and silverware but no. Also my purse is lucky brand and it smells like a cocktail now so that sucks. I have been going to this restaurant ever since they opened, here and there. I don’t know if management has been a thing of change in the last 10 or so years this establishment has been here... But I want to be honest, it’s a hit or miss. Service is awful. I’m always - every time I go there which isn’t much, if your not at the bar, you’ll be waiting for your food and drink order. Some apps sounds great but portions are odd and scrappy not authentic. The chicken skewers are not worth your money or time, it’s literally ridiculous. You pay ten bucks for the most tiny bits of chicken breast on a burnt skewer... I’ve had it twice, and it’s the same disappointment. Their sangria is awful, I’ve been to Spain so I know authentic sangria, and unfortunately I was looking forward to some yummy sangria but theirs is like a sugary unbalanced dessert with fruit just thrown in. There isn’t any integrity I see in the restaurant, I feel they are just trying to make ends meet. But I will say, you can’t go wrong with their other drink selections, the rum is wonderful (I mean it’s hard to screw that up) great selections, so the rum bar is fun. Although if your looking for authentic Peruvian food, and service you may find yourself disappointed. So, with that said and after continuously giving this place a chance time after time I truly never want to go back there to eat, din or anything. Personally I have better service at union jacks, and yes that’s a British America bar around the corner and some may see its a step down from paladar, but not in my book. Even they know that good service and food is key.More

Came here to celebrate our daughter’s 16th birthday. The night started off well with chips and guacamole as our appetizer. Then everything went downhill from there. Our food was tasteless and bland. Since we were celebrating, we decided to get dessert and two out of...the four of us received a dirty plate. When we approached a manager about it, they were clearly annoyed and instead of taking our desserts and replaying, they just handed us to new plates. We never even received an apology. So, in closing, I found this restaurant to be somewhat average.More

Saturday Brunch. We had eaten here many times-but never for their weekend brunch. Bottomless Mimosas are a great deal unless you only want one. We had reservations. But, it wasn’t that busy at 1 p.m. Not Buffett style. Several menu choices. Brazilian bread basket was...a good appetizer. First attempt at medium steak was too done and was done over nicely. Grilled honey chicken was good. But, was breast meat. At bit dry for my taste. Servings were large enough to be filling. Service was good. Parking is free across the street.More

Dining here was nice as it was different from many other places that we have visited that specialize in Latin cuisine. The atmosphere is great and the staff are very friendly. If you ever wanted to get an education in rum, this is certainly the...place! The food was delicious (the feijoada stew was particularly good) and the beverages were enjoyable. Parking is available at nearby garages or valet service. Would recommend this restaurant to friends.More

Tried Paladar last night for the first time with some good friends. I won’t be going back. I ordered the Ropa Vieja which came out tougher and chewier than an actual rope. It was barely edible. My jaw hurt from eating the first couple bites....The house speciality rum pork was bland and nothing special. Even the rice and beans were bland and tasteless. The drinks were way too strong. We all ordered 4 separate drinks. They all tasted like straight alcohol with no flavor from any of the mixers that should have made them unique. I’m sure some people like this but I could have saved money and just ordered a few shots instead. The service itself was very good and the atmosphere was nice. It’s a shame the chef there doesn’t know how to cook. The food was very disappointing.More

This is my third visit in so many...years , good memories from past , not sure if I will return in future. Restaurant was clean, left after an hour.More
