My husband and I had lunch at McGarvey's on a beautiful May afternoon. We sat outside, and enjoyed watching the world go by. He enjoyed his crab cakes, and I really loved my beef tenderloin salad. We would definitely return if we find ourselves in...Annapolis again.More

My friend and I had brunch at McGarvey’s, we had oysters, fried calamari, nachos and a salad. Food was really good, I loved the salad and calamari! Nachos were almost okay, lots of tortilla chips and little toppings. The gentleman bartender was very nice and...friendly, customer service was great. We did indoor seating, there’s a couple tables outside the establishment as well. Comfy environment, bathrooms were very clean and so the restaurant which is great. If you get a chance to go to the Annapolis area, this is a good place to grab a bite at!More

Excellent crab macaroni and cheese- great taste, loaded with crab. The “new” crab wontons- again, loaded with cream cheese mixed with crab meat. The crab pretzel could be improved - a little skimpy of the crab topping. Excellent service; our server- Alvin- did a fantastic...job.More

We had lunch here on a brisk Sunday afternoon. We were fortunate enough to sit outdoors in the sun which made the experience very pleasant. We agreed it was one of the top calamaris we have had, and we have eaten a lot of calamari....Our lunch, oyster and shrimp po boys, were also very good. We will definitely return to McGarvey's when we are back in Annapolis.More

For all you oyster connoisseur’s there’s no need to look any further. Renowned for fresh and tasty oysters, McGarvey’s stands second to none other. Since1975 they have been serving up all sorts of outta-this-world seafood. Great service covid-compliant and very reasonably priced. Put it on...your to-go-to list!More

Great lunch. Maryland crab soup and a crab melt. Doesn’t get any better than that. Nice table at the window to people watch. Good afternoon.

We hit McGarvey's every time we're in town for crab cakes, crab soup, crab dip and oysters. Never had a problem.

This travel-loving family of three finally got to eat out during Covid. We were eager to walk around "close enough for us to visit" Annapolis. We arrived at McGarvey's at 4 pm on a Saturday and were seated inside right away. The wait for an...outside table was 25 minutes. I got the very bland Chicken Oscar. Well, I didn't know it was bland when I ordered it! My husband got cooked "very well" fish-n-chips. We have had SO much better fish-n-chips but these were okay. My son got a fried chicken sandwich and he liked it. Our server was super friendly and the food came out quickly. There are too many restaurants to try should we venture into Annapolis again. And by the way, Naptown was bustling with business.More

Outside tables and limited and for small groups of no more than 4. Inside is pretty big and they could accommodate a larger group but since they dont take reservations, you would.likely have to wait longer.
