If you want to beat the huge crowds down by the water, come up the hill a little for a lovely view and absolutely delicious French cuisine! The menu is expansive for lunch, and it's not at all fussy - just yummy with high-quality ingredients....And the service is exemplary. Loved it!More

Utterly charming interior, decorated as if one was in a rustic french inn (though I think they could cull some of the fake flowers). Service was very pleasant, but slow. It was restaurant week and they could have used one more server. The french onion...soup was marvelous. I'd go back just for that alone. Rich broth, a wealth of onions, the floating bread cut to the correct size and thickness, the gruyere melted down the sides of the ramekin. Lovely, just lovely. My entree was the duck with berry coulis, roasted potatoes and some carrots and haricot vert. The duck was 2 legs and part of a breast. It was nicely cooked, but not a standout. Same for the veggies, which still had a bit of bite (which I like). The roasted potatoes were wonderful. Dessert was creme caramel, which is very similar to a flan. Nice, but not terribly memorable. Would I go back for the atmosphere, the soup and to try some other items? Yes, I would.More

I stopped in for a special lunch with my niece that I haven’t seen in a few years. She lives in CA and came to visit. We had a wonderful time. Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive. I’ve been to France and my...favorite dish has been boeuf bourguignon. My niece did not know what to order but she likes beef so I recommended it. It is a hearty plate and she was unable to finish her meal but loved it. I definitely enjoyed my meal but quit early also to save room for the Normandie apple tart. Everything was delicious and the great service made it a very special meal.More

Flavorful and delicious. The appetizers cream of cauliflower soup and French onion both awesome. The Shrimp and brie appetizers so good! The main dishes were all a hit- from the Veal I had which was light and excellent, to the steak sandwich and fries, the...difference when a chef prepares food is taste. Anna was an excellent waitress - involved but not too obtrusive. Oh, the desserts of chocolate bar and perfetto roll top notch! Didn't expect such a great lunch.More

Leave it to an Annapolis restaurant legend to adapt with all the Covid disaster and figure out how to still be able to make it happen. Awesome ‘social-distancing’ tent enclosure, super service and great food ‘n drinks. Calamari appetizer, Chateaubriand, Veal Normandy, some fine wine...and put us to bed with smiles on our faces! Absolutely delicious plus!More

Being from Normandie, there is no hesitation to go and try their food. I was pleased to see a nice variety of food but I couldn't make up my mind ( I wanted all). So we decided to have the appetizer shared platter to taste...the different food on the menu. What a great choice !. The tarte tatin is a killer :-). Too bad I don't live in Annapolis ! LOLMore

We had lunch outside and everything was amazing! The risotto and squid appetizer and onion soup were highlights. Nice wine list and attentive and friendly service. Unfortunately, we don’t live close by but whenever we are in Annapolis we will include in our plans.

We enjoyed our visit to Cafe Nornandie. Food was good and the atmosphere was nice. Our server was lovely but the service was really slow, we were there over 2 hours, and not because we were just handing around. I will go back, but budget...my time accordinglyMore

We had reservations but they wouldn't honor our request for outside seating. The service was good but not great. The food was outstanding and that all reason you need to make this a must when visiting Annapolis. We shared the Brie appetizer, I throughly enjoy...the fennel salad and other in our group found the cream of crab outstanding. The Veal français was delicious served over fettuccine. I sampled the rack of lamb and it to was outstanding along with a scallop dish. The brandied cherries and chocolate bar should be on your list for dessert. Truly a fantastic meal!More
