I recognize that we attended Rams Head Tavern on a slower night so we experienced a quiet evening. There was plenty of room and it felt very open. Our server, Leigh, was very friendly to our party of four. The food was very good for...what it was, pub food.More

This place gets very crowded so if you don’t have a reservation you will most likely not get seated. Bar seats are free grab but good luck! We went on the beer release day but we missed the glasses so you need to be there...before they start; we showed up 30mins after and they were sold out. It’s fun and loud! The food is also good but not anything amazingly delicious.More

This was a nice place for dinner. One person had the shepherd's pie, another had the vegan sausage sandwich. People shared the crabby tots (delicious) Everything was very tasty. Good craft beers. On the expensive side but it was good food.

This place was recommended by a friend. We went as a family of 5. I order medium steak frites - it was like a leather shoe totally over cooked for a medium order and fries were so salty they were hard to eat. We made...a reservation and were told we’d a table outside. There were no tables outside when we got there for our reservation. I’d suggest giving this place a miss unless you’re looking for drinks at a bar. For dining I’d suggest going elsewhere.More

I got the Double Whiskey burger, but as a single, and a flight of beer (pre-selected by establishment) and I am pleasantly full! The service was great, we sat on the back terrace which has such a cool vibe but we had to ask to...sit back there, FYI. Reasonably priced and the interior architecture is fun. I recommended! Missed taking a photo before I started so here's what's left!More

The bison meatloaf was great, the Mac & cheese delicious. The Brussel sprouts appetizer was a wow. Good service simply adds to making this a good choice.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who showed me a picture of the crab cake she ordered the last time she visited Annapolis. I knew right then and there that I was going to need to have one ASAP. I called for reservations, and...was told we probably wouldn't need one - we were seated outside immediately. It was great to be in the middle of West Street with all the other restaurants doing outdoor dining. Another plus was listening to live music. I tried the Jameson punch, which was strong, but good. I had a cup of the Cream of Crab which was AMAZING and well priced. Hubby raved about his Firecracker Shrimp and honestly couldn't decide which of the 2 sauces he liked better. I orded a single crab cake, while hubby ordered 2. The price for 2 was a little extreme ($33 compared to a single for $19). But the cake was so fresh and FULL of meat! The fried green tomatoes underneath were crispy and so tasty! I do wish the fire roasted corn salsa was warm, but it was still good. We recommend Rams Head for anyone wanting a delicious, local, seafood dinner.More

Have dinner before the show. Make reservation and be seated right away. Very good in house craft beers, our waitress is very polite but not very attentive. We order steak and fish of the day, when I complain my fish is overcooked, manager apology and...credit us back. After dinner, you are escorted to your table, and you can order drinks and some foods too.More

Returned to the Rams Head Tavern with friends for dinner and then a concert at the Rams Head On Stage for the first time in over 30 years. Having just returned to the area it was a great chance to see how the tavern had...expanded and it was pretty impressive. 30 years ago the Rams Head Tavern was a small basement bar with an even smaller outdoor area. Now it is a huge venue with two bars (basement bar still there) and several large dining areas. The menu was very good with a combination of seafood, beef, pork and chicken dishes, many were typical pub fare but there were some more traditional choices. Overall the meal was good and it proved to be a great location to meet with friends for a good meal and a drink. If you are going for a concert at Rams Head on Stage, it is conveniently located within the same venue and you do not have to leave the Tavern to get to the concert.More

We had dinner at the Tavern before seeing a show on the Rams Head Stage. By all means, take advantage of the FREE Premium Experience with your dinner, whether you're seeing a show or not. The restaurant is much bigger than one expects from outside....Even though they were very busy we were seated at our reservation time, in a quiet corner. Our server was engaging, very polite and stayed on top of things. The cream of crab soup is excellent, and we live near the water so we're familiar with it. My husband's steak was perfectly cooked, as were my steak bites. The drinks are reasonably priced in the restaurant and in the show room, and properly mixed. Our server kept an eye on the timing of our meal for us such that we could enjoy it without rushing and still get seated for the show with time to spare. We had a very positive experience and would go to this location again without hesitation.More
