Stopped into the tavern before seeing Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn perform next door. Had a pint of Guiness and the $5 burger special on Sundays. The burger was huge and cooked perfectly medium. It came with homemade potato chips. Are great inexpensive delicious meal with a fun warm crowd.

First visit and very impressed with building it self. I Actually felt a little under dressed. I sat at the bar and bartender was excellent. He took my food and drink order promptly. I ordered the monte cristo and a side salad. Salad was good but the sandwich was soggy. I was really expecting crisp bread. It did have good... More

We visited the outdoor patio a couple of evenings during our stay in Annapolis. The first night it was kind of cool and misty but the patio was enjoyable because of overhead heater's that they had in place. The second evening was warm and sunny but we enjoy the same heaters after the sun went down. Good beer selection, fairly... More

The Ram's Head has an unremarkable beer selection, but there should be something that more or less appeals to everyone. The atmosphere is traditional, somewhat quaint, but not original or very interesting. We were only there for the pub and not the music venues. I expect that the music venues are the better reason to patronize the Ram's Head and... More

I went to A Jazz concert featuring Art Sherrod Jr., who is a very talented Sax player, the concert was awesome but service was poor! We sat at take 104 a&b seats, I asked the waiterss for a glass of ice water with lemon, she the pointed to the liter cylinder of warm water that they per poured way before... More

Have been here about 5 times while visiting Annapolis to see music groups. The food is reasonably priced and very good. The variety is not huge, but you will enjoy.

Haven't been in years and was not disappointed when I returned. The bar area was loud and crowded but the staff was great. The food was just as good as I remembered it and did not disappoint.

We went there to eat before the show next door. We were seated real fast. No wait. So far so good. Ordered food. Talked. Pleasant waitress. Talked some more. One hour later the food is not ready. One hour!!! We will miss the show. Place was emptying and we still have no food. Finally came. My medium well steak was... More

I was on an overnight trip to Annapolis with friends. We decided to have lunch and saw The Rams Head when we exited the parking garage on West Street. The restaurant is deceiving from the entrance, it has a large dining room in the back. We are approached by Joe our waiter. He was friendly, fun and gave us outstanding... More

The menu was so extensive I asked for help from our waitperson, Noel. She was a fountain of knowledge and narrowed my choices down to the right one, with very good reasoning as we eliminated other possible choices. I ended up with a reuben - the sandwich so large I took half of it with me! We enjoyed the music,... More
