Only two percent of American Beef is good enough to earn the designation "U.S. Prime." That's why only a handful of restaurants serve it. Lewnes' Steakhouse holds the distinction of being the first Annapolis restaurant to feature U.S. Prime Steaks

Not Just steak---appetizers, sides, desserts! We recently experienced Lewne's for the first time after moving here and couldn't have been more pleased. The food was extraordinary from the round of warm, onion-y bread to coffee at the end, our meal was delicious. And huge compliments...to our server, Jin Lee, who guided us through the menu with knowledge and warmth. Don't miss the wedge salad, friends but everything was perfect.More

Having moved to Annapolis 9 months ago we have heard rave reviews about Lewnes' Steakhouse. We finally made reservations for a birthday celebration and were not disappointed. They really know how to do steaks. My wife and I each had the filet mignon which was...done to perfection. I'm not sure I have had a better or bigger baked potato and my wife's salad really needed a bigger plate for the size of it. The wine list is extensive and you can get a bottle of wine in all price ranges from $$ to $$$$$ but we stuck with the house wine which was very good. Since it was a birthday celebration we were given a beautiful brownie, ice cream, whipped cream desert which we were not expecting. The service and ambiance of the restaurant was very nice and the service was great as well. This is a perfect place for a special occasion or a fancy date night.More

I took my wife and daughter for my wife’s birthday. My daughter loved the Chilean sea bass. My wife and myself each ordered the small filet’s they were dry and the seasoning they used over powered the steak. We found out the seasoning was garlic,...white pepper, and sea salt. The amount used did not enhance the flavor of the meat, it overpowered. It is just way to impolite to repeat what my daughter said her moms Filet tasted like!! Very much not with the cost of the meal!!More

8OOPm Reservation on 12/4/21 Was excited to have a night out with my husband on my birthday after we'd heard so many great things about Lewnes," however upon entering the restaurant-we were greeted by a less than friendly female bartender who seemed to be bothered...that we were there. We (an African American couple) approached the bar to see a small sign on the bar the read "Reserved for <Name> 5:30"- because it was 8:00 pm, I politely asked the bartender if we could sit there until our table was ready-she (a Caucasian female) barely looked up and said "IT'S RESERVED-NO YOU CANNOT SIT THERE." Before I could even say it said 5:30 pm (and it was now 8pm), she continued serving the other 4 Caucasian patrons without even asking if we wanted anything to drink or even glancing our way. No less than 10 minutes later, a group of 4 Caucasian patrons entered, sat down at the very same "reserved" seats, ordered drinks and were NEVER told it was reserved or that they could not sit there. The bartender CLEARED the area, wiped it down and removed the sign-all while she NEVER even asked if we wanted anything. The other patrons even noticed the difference of treatment towards us and said "That is simply not right" and offered us their seats as they were leaving. (we politely refused) So, after seeing this, I walked over to the bar as asked the bartender again..."So, are these seats now NOT reserved??" She (as rudely as she possibly could have) said "THEY ARE HAVING ONE DRINK AND GOING TO A TABLE!" (slightly yelling) - which was the exact same thing we were there to do. The fact is, she never even asked if we had reservations, never asked if we needed/wanted a drink and was flat out rude and a clear racist. She made it clear that we were NOT WELCOMED there. Though ready to leave, my husband convinced me to stay. The positive is that the host and the server were OUTSTANDING-so it made up for the treatment we received by the bartender. The food was delicious and definitely lived up to expectations. The ambiance was great for a quiet date night. If this review was based on the food and server-5 stars. However, first impressions last - and my first impression was extremely negative. As avid travelers (Nationally and Internationally) we have NEVER received this type of treatment. So, despite the good food - sadly we will NEVER return to this restaurant to be treated as undesirables.More

I had a porterhouse that was one of the best steaks I ever ate! Delicious meal at a fair price. The service was outstanding.

From the moment we walked in, until we walked out, it was an amazing experience! The service was amazing! One of our guests has had issues getting a well done steak elsewhere, but server offered to butterfly it and it was cooked just right! The...food was excellent! The sides are definitely family sized to share. No skimping in sizes. Will definitely be coming back!More

Four adults, all hungry and caution to the wind regards costs. Both couples ordered their "Tomahawk" 40 oz. rib eyes. One serving was too bloody even for medium rare liking and sent back. Once the cooking was settled, the steaks were delicious. But ... a...crabmeat cocktail that was just so-so, Lyonnaise potatoes that missed the mark, creamed spinach that, with it's nutmeg addition, was not up to par and a bearnaise sauce that was unacceptable. Wonderful mushroom side dish but pecan pie dessert not worth the effort. A VERY expensive Heitz Cellar red and therein lies some of the total cost. With tip +$1000.00. So stay away from parts of the menu and bring your wallet.More

Usually when my husband and I look for a restaurant to celebrate, I pick the place; but with really nice restaurants, it's difficult to ascertain whether it will be stuffy and pretentious (which I hate) or chill and relaxed (which I love). This steakhouse is...a perfect combination of incredible food and relaxed atmosphere. Our reservation wasn't until 6, but we got there early and were invited to sit at the bar and have a drink until it was time for us to be seated. The bartender, and everyone seated at the bar, were very friendly and down to earth. I had a glass of wine and my husband had a beer; these were added onto our dinner bill which made it easy for everyone. The steaks we had (I had the petite filet and he had the sirloin) were cooked PERFECTLY. We both eat our steak rare and we've found with other steakhouses that this is a difficult thing to do, but these were by far the BEST steaks we've ever had, hands down. Jen, our server, was super friendly and is a great addition to the team there. At the end of dinner, she brought us dessert as we were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. This is a wonderful, family owned, restaurant and we were absolutely thrilled with the food and service. This is definitely a steakhouse that we both would highly recommend.More

Our dining experience was faultless. Wonderful atmosphere. Attentive service. Steaks cooked exactly as ordered. Party of 8 and not a complaint. Fortunately I had a good day at the track. Very expensive. Very worth it. You owe it to yourself every now and then.

There is street parking only available. I'm not sure if there are designated handicap spots or not. You may want to contact the restaurant for assistance.
