We arrived for a beautiful sunset light dinner. The waitress was wonderful Meika (? ) . My significant other had a delicious salad, I had the famous burger. At $17 I figured oh well, Covid and $15 min wage, expense increases, etc and wanted to...support a local traditional establishment. The burger was perfectly cooked at MR. However, the bun was undoubtedly nuked. My English Mastiff could have spent 10 mins trying to rip thru the leather like dough. The tomato slice was maybe 3MM thick, one wilted piece of lettuce, no pickle and a modest serving of skinny fries. Then, the loud mouthed drunks that must have been still drinking from the Blues demonstration... no fault of Sams, but not surprising. Unfortunately, being a local I’m always underwhelmed, but I love the water ambiance! Better luck with the new management!!!More

Very rude manager-never have been treated in such a rude manner. Go somewhere else where they want your business and treat you with respect.

The food was good but we will never return due to the poor service and uncleanliness. We waited more than 30 minutes after finishing our meal for someone to clear our table and give us our check. In the meantime I tried to use the...ladies room, it was disgusting. I went to the hostess stand to ask for a manager which took another 10 minutes. The manager came and surprise it was our waitress. She offered an expensive bill and a weak apology for being understaffed. She had the opportunity to make it right and did nothing.More

Food was great but... We brought our own rockfish, it was prepared perfectly. The surprise was when we received the check, $25 for our own fish with a side of fries and veggies. This was super disappointing

My husband and I docked there to have lunch. We decided to have a drink and have lunch. After politely waiting for the bartender to ignore us 20 minutes. I spoke up and he came over to get us a drink. Mind you he had...waited on two other couples before us and we were there first. Previously we had eaten there the first time inside and our waiter forgot about us after we ordered and I had to go find someone to help us 45 minutes later. No drinks nothing. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!!!More

The location is the big selling point here. It's Sam's OVER the water. Tucked away in a little, gated neighborhood looking over a marina. They have a boardwalk with outdoor tables, a nice little bar, live music (on Friday night) and white linen tablecloths. The...clientele ranged from casual, off a day of boating to folks dressed up in sport coats for a night out. Service was hopping, as they seemed slightly understaffed. The atmosphere was typical for what you find at an upscale marina restaurant and the food was too. Similar to what you'd get at a wedding. Appetizers - we had the baked oysters and cream of crab soup. The soup was my outstanding memory of the night. I almost asked to buy a quart to go, but the servers were so busy, I didn't get the chance. Entrees - surf duo of crabcake & fried shrimp w/orzo and veggie medley. The seafood was average. The crabcake was not lump and you could taste the filler. The shrimp were large, breaded and nicely cooked. The cocktail sauce brought a nice bit of flavor. The orzo had nice bits of minced veggie in it. As I can't tolerate green bell pepper, my husband enjoyed it very much the next day. The veggies were the best bit of the entree, yellow squash, zucchini, aspargus, onion, all beautifully cooked and served with butter. My husbands bone in pork chop with a bourbon sauce was wonderful. I asked for (and got) 2 bites. Tender, moist, barely pink with a wonderful char on the outside. He had the same yummy veggie medley as me and roasted fingerling potatoes that were quite lackluster. Desserts - we both had key lime pie and it was very nice, but note noteworthy. I will happily go back for cream of crab soup, the outstanding location and hope they have the pork chop and veggie medley.More

I had lunch at Sam’s on the Waterfront yesterday (my first time at the restaurant —and on a first date!), and it was wonderful!! Our waitress was so professional and accommodating. The Crab Cakes were amazing!! I’ve already recommended Sam’s to family and friends.

Met some friends Sunday evening to enjoy great food and great music! We sat outside and had a nice view of the boats coming in and out of the marina and got to enjoy a local musician which set the tone for the evening. I...have been picky about where I eat due to Covid. I felt safe here as the waitstaff was reminding patrons to put their masks on. My group ordered a couple of appetizers including calamari, wings and Captain Crunch shrimp-which is as good as it sounds! All were delicious and not a crumb left! I had the crab cakes for dinner which were wonderful! I had the key lime pie for dessert, but also had a bite of the creme brûlée cheesecake which was amazing. Our server Alex was attentive and kept the drinks flowing and the wine poured.More

We got there just as a storm was blowing in so it was cool to sit outside and watch that. The hostess said we could come inside if we wanted. Nick was our waiter and he did a great job. I had the shrimp and...scallop salad. It was delicious. My husband chose the burger which he said was also very good. He loved the fries. I would recommend this place for outdoor dining.
