A modern industrial take on a Prohibition- era speakeasy. A place where you would sneak a bourbon, craft beer and gourmet comfort food meal if Prohibition were still the law of the land today.

Spectacular place for bourbon tasting and the made to order food is a huge bonus. Everything was wonderful to include our service. Amazing and fun as the atmosphere is much like a speakeasy.

I wish I had been able to spend more time in Annapolis so I could have eaten more meals at Dry 85. As a solo traveler dining alone, I had a bit of trepidation about taking up a seat at the bar at Dry 85,...but the bartender couldn't have been nicer and provided great service. Deciding on what to order wasn't easy - everything on the menu looked great. Happily, the bartender supported my choice of the spareribs because those ribs were definitely the tastiest, falling off the bone spareribs I have had anywhere. The sides that accompanied the large portion or ribs were also top notch: very tasty crisp cole slaw and perfectly prepared sweet potato fries. I'm looking for an excuse to return to Annapolis soon so I can return to Dry 85 and try those other menu choices that sounded so good.More

I wouldn't have walked into this Burbon bar since I'm not really into burbon, but I saw it was highly rated in trip advisor so we gave it a try. The food is excellent. Bn I would not call it bar food. We had an...appetizer of Brussel sprouts that were amazing served with blue cheese and bacon! I got a fig and blue cheese burger that came with carmelized onions. Fabulous. My partner had skirt steak salad, also great. My mule was also one of the best I've ever had. Don't be scared off from the burbon part, I still enjoyed this place immensely!!More

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their food - I had the blacked scallops and they melted like butter - cooked perfectly! I also loved the craft cocktails. It did get a little loud so it was hard to hear at...times but honestly we were all enjoying our food so much it wasn’t that big of a deal.More

Recommended. This is a great rendevous spot smack-dab in historic downtown Annapolis, MD for drinks, tasty snacks, and yes, even dinner. The ambiance is historic and quaint. Service is excellent. The staff is at the top of their game: prompt, bright, and helpful. If you...love the idea of a full-service bar, you'll love what this place has to offer — a dizzying array of drinks and specialty beers. We stopped in as a group of four. Three of the four of us had lunch-level meals for less than $20. One in our party had the special of the day: Swordfish. Each guest had two drinks. The total bill: $220.00 The watchword of the day for this place is "price". The cost of drinks is very high and, in some cases, out-of-sight. Forewarned is forearmed. The Pros's: Tasty, good quality foodstuffs, and a wide variety of bar drink offerings. The Con's: Drinks can be VERY pricey. We saw one drink on the bar list at $45. If you want an out-of-sight bill, order two or three drinks for everyone in your group. Parking for most visitors will be in a garage. Street parking is limited given the narrow roads and passageways of the historic downtown area. Drivers may plan to drop off members of their party in front and then proceed to park. There can be a waiting line depending on the day and time of day — another good reason to drop off party members ahead of time.More

As a Prohibition type restaurant, Dry 85 definitely hits the mark on drinks as they are fantastic, as is the service. Unfortunately the food isn’t great which is disappointing. If you want to meet for happy hour with friends, stop by here for libations but...find somewhere else to eat!More

We were in town for a wedding and went to dinner here the night before. The food, drinks and service were all top-notch. We started with the seafood Mac n Cheese appetizer. It was loaded with seafood, creamy and delicious. For dinner we had the...Pork Ossobuco which was tender and well seasoned. We had a couple of the house specialty drinks as well. Everyone at the table raved about their food. We heard from some locals later that this is one of the best places in town and I can see why they would say that.More

How can you not like a restaurant that has a brussel sprout dish of the day? Okay, so you don't like Brussel Sprouts. There's plenty of creativity on the rest of the menu. Some things we ate didn't quite live up to the attractive description,...but everything was fresh and tasty, but not quite over the top. That explains the four stars. Service was excellent. There's also a gigantic menu of whiskies and beers, but none of that interested us on a hot Sunday afternoon.More

Stopped in for a quick beer to get out of the intense heat. Cool place, nice staff, good beer and cocktail selection. Did not have food but it looked really good. Will stop in again when we have more time.
