I don’t go out of my way to review places often but this place has amazed me visit after visit! They were wonderful during the pandemic as well and did/still do offer charity takeout dinner and especially event meals. Everything that comes out of that...kitchen is 10/10 and the staff is so knowledgeable on great wine pairings! It’s a small place but they really make you feel special. You have to go on Wednesdays in the summer for Dinner Under the Stars and dine al fresco! Everything here is delicious but don’t forget to get a cappuccino and some tiramisu to top it off!More

Worst experience dinning I have ever had. Waited by "Please wait to be Seated" before anyone saw me or acknowledged me. 2-3 minutes. No big deal. After being seated server brought water and menu. Server gabbed for fifteen minutes with couple at another table about...her parents anniversary and couples cruise. Finally took my order. Mind you there was only one other table with people. Iced tea, Pasta and salad. 35 minutes! Later she brought my pasta. Um salad? "Oh". One hour and 30 minutes after I enter the establishment I pay and leave. Not once was my water or iced tea refilled. Couple that sat down as I was finishing dinner had drinks And appetizer in five minutes. Don't care what food tasted like, can't see why I would ever go back.More

Always an amazing meal here! The food is fresh, the blush sauce is perfection and the staff is always super friendly. This is one of our favorite gems in town. The owner is usually buzzing around and will stop by and make introduce herself and...is so grateful to have you in. Go here for excellent Italian food and great atmosphere!More

We had a delicious experience with Luna Blu's Thanksgiving Wine Pairing Meal. This was a 3 course meal that included 4 half-bottles of wine. The food was delicious: a buratta with dried figs appetizer, beef short ribs and pasta for the entree, and tiramisu for...desert. Among the wines were an Adelsheim Pinot Noir and Alexander Valley Vineyards Cabernet which were superb. Everything was just great. We did this as take out - items were packaged well and there were no issues with warming the entree later in the evening. We have dined at Luna Blu several times and this is probably the most enjoyable food and wine pairing from them. We definitely will be looking for similar paring menus from them in the future.More

A friend recommended this establishment and declared it to be the best Italian eat in town. As this was our first time ordering from this restaurant, we ordered several dishes to sample for take out. Every menu item was absolutely delicious and well prepared! It...was obvious that the chef used fresh, quality ingredients; a pure gastronomical delight. Also, many thanks to the pleasant and professional waitresses and waiters. We live 90 minutes away from the restaurant but shall return again and again because the meals are well worth the trip. Kudos to the chef! The owner did a great job in choosing the right team to make this an excellent restaurant. Keep up the great work and know that we sincerely appreciate your culinary expertiseMore

Due to Covid-19 they only offered outside dining. The staff was very nice and helpful. There was live music and social distancing enforced. The food was very good...I had a seafood (scallops, crab, shrimp) dish and my wife had salmon with crab. The dining outside...was nice, but I suggest dining in the evening. It was hot and the sun was setting and made it uncomfortable early that evening, but within 30-45 min the sun went down and it was more bearable. There is a 2hr. dining limit and bathrooms are available for patrons. I would return in the future.More

Dining outdoors at socially safe distances from other tables in the middle of West Street, and with live guitar music in the air lends a European flair to eating out these days in Annapolis. The 4 course dinner special for $38 pp was an amazing...deal, especially when choosing the fresh rockfish and crab entree and the seared scallops over polenta appetizer. For the special, choose any appetizer, any pasta dish or entree, and a selection from the dessert menu. The braised short ribs Chef's Special was tender and served on top of a bed of risotto. The mixed green salad was fresh and generous, and the house special zabaglione dessert provided a perfect finish. We enjoyed the Hibiscus mule drink, and will definitely return. Live music Wednesday through Sunday. Make a reservation and get out to support our local businesses! But please note: If you have troublesome hips, bring a cushion as the plastic chairs are uncomfortable for a 2 hour sit-down.More

Because of the virus lockdown we had to order takeout. Wow. What a great meal we had. We both got the 4 course special which included appetizer, salad, entree and dessert for an amazing $38. I had the calamari appetizer which was good but I...would have preferred a spicier tomato sauce with the calamari. The bow tie pasta with crab, scallops and shrimp was very good and quite a large portion. The house salad was tasty and the Italian dressing was just right. My wife had the rockfish over a spaghetti. She totally enjoyed the flavor and the portion size. The tiramisu was wonderful. We will be back, hopefully to be inside next time.More

We have two reasons to go to Annapolis, Concerts or Financial Advice. We would be eating less than an hour after our visit to Luna Blu so we popped in just for our favorite appetizers. I had- Escargots sautéed with mushrooms, marsala wine and tomato...cream sauce served in a puff pastry. Everything about it is yum! I had been craving it since my last visit and was not disappointed the second time around. As the first time’s the charm sometime the second time it’s just ok. My significant other had a special with mussels, and pancetta in a creamy sauce. Sorry, it was a special that night, so not have the official name. But he said it was delicious. Our server was perfect. Attentive when we needed her to be and out of sight when we just wanted to be alone. We had informed them of our plans to only get appetizers and they did not snub us in the least. It’s a tiny place (think row house made into restaurant but there were about 15 tables for two or 4 and they could easily rearrange for a larger group. We recommend it highly for a quick bite or a full course dinner, which we had the first time we went there. Prices are reasonable and you can check their menu out online. Parking is on the street or there is a nearby garage. We have done both.More

My wife and I tried Luna Blu for the second time that I can remember. Because of the small size of this restaurant we made reservations ahead of time which allowed us to be seated immediately while others were waiting. We each had a simple...meal of a pasta dish and a glass of wine each. The prices were reasonable for the pastas we chose and the flavors were good. Portion size was just about right. We each received a warm dinner roll with the meal. I was disappointed that they didn't offer eggplant parmigiana which is a favorite of mine, but I realize this requires a significant amount of preparation and isn't suitable for a small restaurant setting. The menu was fairly extensive for the size of the restaurant. Noise was fairly high because there was a table with probably a dozen people nearby. I suspect that things are normally a bit quieter. The wine was good. I had a chianti by the glass (the only one available) and found it to be quite good. The prices were fairly reasonable for the pasta dishes ($14). A scan of the other menu items seemed to indicate that the prices were not excessive for Annapolis, which tends to have fairly high prices anyway. We will probably go back and try some of the other dishes offered at a later date.More
