Called them at 10am to place a pick up order at 11am. When I got there they said there was nothing under my name and that they even had no idea what I ordered. 3rd time this happens. Lost a customer. Too much disorganized for...average doughnuts we can find somewhere else.More

Apparently, many locals consider Sandy Pony to be the best place for donuts. They are likely correct. We visited the store during the Covid restrooms so we chose our selections outside and one of went in to place our order We waited out side for...several minutes. When they came out with our order, I was surprised that the box was quite warm. They basically made them for our order. The donuts were amazing. They are cake-style but very light and fluffy. Great taste! We also had bubble teaMore

The only negative here is that you can not get yeast donuts. All the selection, which is very extensive, are cake. They are cooked to order and covered with your selected toppings. Very good taste. A little expensive compared to other donut shops.

Not a Dunkin Donut for sure but that's not always a bad thing. This place only has cake donuts and they are made for you as you wait. Fairly expensive but a very nice tasting donut and you got to admit, they are fresh. No...stale donuts here!More

I have passed this little donut shop in Annapolis for a while and on a break from a hard day at work I stopped in and ordered a dozen. The donuts were made to order and were warm in the box when I left. The...hardest part about this shop is choosing from their donut varieties! I chose a random dozen (the workers were very patient with me while I changed my order a few times) and I shared them with my husband and daughter. There wasn't a single one we wouldn't choose again!More

I love that there have been an increase in donut shops that offer interesting flavors and combinations that make my mouth water like Homer Simpson. I had a trip to Sandy Pony as part of my vacation itinerary. First of all, it may be a...little tough to get into the plaza where this place is at. A lot of traffic with the shopping center and mall close by. The donuts themselves are pretty good. They are smaller than usual, but I'm okay with that because it means I can try more flavors and eat more donuts and not consume as many calories. I know that two small donuts likely have more calories than one larger donut, but I digress. I asked to get a half dozen donuts and put my trust in the employee's hands to select and create whatever styles she wanted. She did a good job of having a good variety. I also ordered some bubble tea to take on the drive to our vacation home for the week. I didn't find the tea to be very good. Tapioca wasn't sweetened and the drink just felt watered down. As far as the donuts go, we ended up sampling them over the next couple days. I did have at least one that was fresh and warm and it was pretty good. I enjoyed the cake dough. All the flavors were good, but I've had better donuts at other establishments. Still, these donuts are better than your typical Dunkin/Krispy Kreme (hot glazed not included) store. You might consider it overpriced, I consider it a small premium for a superior donut, compared to the more affordable places. Indulge yourself and enjoy.More

My mom and I stopped in here for the first time on a Wednesday in early April. The two employees greeted us. We mentioned it was out first time there. They told us they’d give us time to look at their menu. No one offered...any suggestions. We decided on half a dozen donuts: Chocolate Covered Pretzel, Mud Pie (chocolate glaze, chocolate sprinkles), Charlie Brown (peanut butter glaze, mini chocolate chips), 2 Glazed (vanilla cake dipped in glaze), Chocolate glazed (vanilla cake dipped in chocolate). The order of 6 was around $9. It didn’t take them that long to make. The donuts are cake donuts. They were a bit on the small side, but I enjoyed them. They were delicious, hot, and very fresh. I would certainly order from them again if I’m in the area and hungry for donuts. Parking can be hectic. They’re located in a small shopping strip with a popular restaurant on the end, so parking is almost always full. The parking spots are a bit tight and the area where you exit and enter can get jammed up from time to time.More

These were warm and wonderful! Just like state fair mini-donuts all grown up. They take cake style donuts and top them with all kinds and varieties of conventional and crazy toppings. Try the bacon and maple glazed! Let them cool a bit, if you can....I dare you.More

Donuts are delicious but rather small. The selection of doughnut flavors and types are innovative yet fall short of gourmet status. The "sea foam" doughnut (coconut and glaze) is good but it is really all about the dough that makes a doughnut standout above the...rest. The dough used here is above average. But, once again, the doughnuts are on the small size. In addition, they are overpriced, one doughnut will cost you $1.85. Half dozen cost $8.75, a better bargain. These doughnuts are much better than the doughnuts found at chain shops like Dunkin Donuts, or supermarkets like Safeway, Shoppers Food Warehouse, or Giant. If you find yourself up Route 2 in Severna Park I recommend The Donut Shack, where you can get a half dozen doughnuts for $5. (See my review of the Donut Shack.)More

You will think you are back on the Outer Banks at Duck Donuts when you taste these. These made to order gems are the best I have ever eaten. Supper service from smiling kids makes it a wonderful trip. Try the bacon Donuts...the crispy sweet...texture is awesome.More
