Having to do a little business in Adrian, my wife and I stopped at Maria's for lunch. Large portions, tasty salsa, and good sauces impressed us both. We got the check and we're even more impressed. We took a 60 mile drive two weeks ago (one way) just to have lunch there again.

Cozy little dive restaurant with full authentic mexican menu, off the beaten path but worth the trip! I orderded the chorizo platter for breakfast and it was served quick, hot and delicious. Included were the ground seasoned chorizo and eggs, fried cubed potatoes, refried beans, tortillas, a couple sides of homemade salsa (green and red) and tortilla chips. (Around $8... More

We stopped in for breakfast and ordered chorizo plate, it was decent tasting, but you could tell that the beans were old and all of the food had been sitting in large quantities. It's not hard to scramble a couple eggs in some cooked chorizo, fresh is always better.

Have always been a fan of sunnyside! Even with new management. Food is delish! Salsa is devine and so good you almost want to drink. A must go to restaurant

We love this place. Very friendly staff and great, authentic Mexican food. Wish we lived closer to visit more often.

Several per told us this was the best place in Adrian. If that is true then don't eat often on Adrian. Quest was really bland and the "hot" salsa had no kick. Chips were fresh. Overall very boring.

This is a local favorite that enjoys a great reputation in the area. It is a bit of a dive but the food is great, the service is pleasant and efficient and the ambiance is folksy. The prices are also quite reasonable making it an excellent bargain. My brother-in-law was in town on business and he asked us to join... More

This is a little family owned business that closes on Sundays and is the most authentic mexican food I have ever eaten. Everything is delicious and very reasonably priced. They run specials on certain days and the service is great

I'm biased. I remember eating here in 1974 when it opened, and I was just a little girl. Over the years, this is the restaurant I judge ALL Mexican food by - if it doesn't live up to the grandma's kitchen recipes I grew up with (and craved every pregnancy) than it isn't real Mexican food. Now owned by the... More
