Have eaten here a few times. Very good sandwiches, and the taco salad is fresh and tasty. Friendly, fast service. Has a lovely outside courtyard. A couple of blocks from the plaza. Good selection. Juices and liquados are also very good. Best for breakfast or lunch, or a light dinner. Very reasonably priced.

Stopped by Dona Luisa Xicoteneatl for the famous banana bread but ended up eating a great breakfast in the courtyard. My travel partner wanted a photo of the bakers in the kitchen, and they were so happy to pose for photos. We bought a loaf of the banana bread but the other fruit breads looked and smelled amazing, too.

Soup, sandwich and hibiscus tea really hit the spot. Reasonably priced. Prompt, friendly service. Delightful setting in an old colonial house.

we like their soups because the restaurant uses gresh vegetables and usually are non dairy. we accompany the soup with a hamburguer or a local fare-like pan con pierna.

I am serious, buy the banana bread. It's the best I've ever had and I have had A LOT. It's delicious and I regret not buying 10 more to bring home with me.

The food is good, healthy, ordinary ... no surprises. Clean and tasty. The service is ALWAYS slow in Antigua, but not more than any other, and the servers are lovely ... many of them have been there over 20 years ... so you know that the owners treat their employees well! A nice patio in the good weather, upstairs several... More

A lovely place to have a relaxed breakfast. Nice, buzzing courtyard, and service is excellent. Food typical of Guatemala and not expensive. Also the only place we have found decaf coffee!

This is one of the most, if not the most, popular bakery in Antigua. Locals, expats and travellers visiting make the bakery a very busy place. Their loaves are absolutely fantastic and the banana bread is just the best!!

It was a hot July afternoon and they had very nice refreshments, snacks and pastries. Lunch items are available late until late afternoon and prices are very reasonable. We stayed on the first floor's patio but they also have seating on the second floor overlooking a very nice garden. Food is OK and service is great. They also have a... More
