A family lunch here, in the middle of a day of seeing the sites in this beautiful town. We had a table in the cloisters/courtyard area, scenic and characterful. We both chose pasta dishes. Mine was rather heavy and a bit overcooked, my companion‘s was...rather better. Good service, albeit not that cheerful, and a nice glass of wine. In short, a good lunch but not a memorable one. The best part was certainly the setting, which was pretty special.More

An absolutely fantastic (albeit pricey!) meal here for our first night in Antigua. My chicken with polenta was an absolute dream, and my husband ordered the lasagna and loved it. One of my favorite parts of the meal was the roasted beet salad as well....The ambiance of Epicure was absolutely amazing. (Do bring bug spray though; my ankles got eaten alive!) and it made for an unexpectedly romantic and lovely dinner. Would absolutely return as there is so much goodness left to try on the menu!More

We were recommended this place by our AirBnb owner. We were actually asking about grocery stores. He mentioned this one for purchasing gourmet items. In the front of the building, there is a gourmet grocery store, deli and bakery. The grocery store reminds me of...Trader Joe's. It sells international grocery items including some European cheese and butter. The bakery sells French patisserie, calzones. They also sell some roast chicken but unfortunately they had run out when we were there. The back area is the restaurant. It's situated in a beautiful garden area. It's very lush and peaceful in the back. We had really good shrimp pasta. For dessert we had a duo of chocolate cake and carrot cake. Service was great too.More

Opening hours are now 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. Trip Advisor should update the hours of operation, just as it should update the new location of Hector’s Bistro, which moved more than a year ago!

Very nice location. Beautiful scenery and decor. Close to Antigua's Central Park. Quiet and reserved with great wildlife.

The food was excellent and the view in the back is very nice. We got the shrimp fettuccini Alfredo and shrimp risotto and would definitely recommend! We also got garlic bread, which was amazing as well!

Amazing pizza. It might be the best in Guatemala. I have been living in this country for over 8 weeks and best pizza I had. It’s filling enough for one person. It comes with cheese, one meet topping of choice, and three vegetable toppings of...choice. Great price point. Peaceful setting in an outdoor terrace / garden. Polite and friendly staff and great service. English speaking friendly as well.More

We had a memorable experience at Epicure Restaurant at enchanting Antigua Guatemala. The charming owner comes directly to your table with suggestions. We had an extraordinary gourmet experience. The artichoke soup: an extraordinary artichoke soup. Our main dish was so exquisite Shimp with a squash...pure. A real memorable experience. A place not to miss with a beautiful patio full of tropical vegetation.More
