I visited this times many times when last time arrived to odessa. The food is great, really great. The prices is not low, but you get a reall food made likevat home with love. The meals size good too. If you want a authentic ukrainian food - this is place for you!

good place to taste the local version of a sort of dumplings, which will be pretty new for western visitors; they are of a very good quality; the place is clean and in a walking distance to the main pedestrian street

Considering it is in a busy street this cafe has managed to create a nice atmosphere. Very good menu. Local cuisine at very good prices. One should try the pilmeni. Its a type of ravioli and just great. Would recommend it for a quick lunch

First of all it is cafe, not restaurant, therefore service and price are adequate to cafe level in heart of city.What is great here it is their food, especially vareniki and pelmeni. Food in this cafe is like at home. I never ate such tasty dumplings with such thin dough like in Alpina. Tasting different dishes in Alpina several times... More

Varenyki (dumplings, pierogi) - is a top Ukrainian cuisine dish. This place gives your the worst impression about them. It's a shame to make traditional food so badly for the restaurant in the center of the city. They brought me a big plate with all varenyks glued together in one big peace of dough and potato, it's ugly and tasteless.... More

This was my first visit to Ukraine and ukrainian restaurant so I have to say that I' m not a Fan od Ukrainian cuisine. The place is very traditional. Vareniki is not the only meal which is great here. Try odesskaya zakuska with farshmak and tulka. It s very big and tasty!
