We only got to know about this place when an attractive young girl thrust a flyer into our hand and directed us down a small roadway leading off the square, and I'm glad she did ! The outdoor dining space is huge but the whole ambience is like a garden party - all the food is cooked by chefs over... More

We shared a mixed grill and a Greek salad - topped off with beers. We enjoyed it and price was comparatively good for old town Zadar. Beer could have been colder

High prices and awkward staff. Persistently talking croatian to us and no willingness to advice something from the menu card. We were waiting 30minutes for dirty dishes to be removed and to ask for a bill. Very dissapointing as the restaurant has nice atmosphere, but waiters corrupts the impression. We felt very unwelcome ;(

Dear Kristina, all waiters in Malo Misto talk fluent english and at least one more foreign language, so it is impossible that the waiter didnt approach you in english or was rude in any way to the guests. 30 minutes waiting, is a little bit exaggerated. Thank you for your review. More

Not the best restaurant in Zadar but good value for money. The food was nice, but we had to wait slightly too much.

Central, good service and good food. Average value. Nice ambience in the middle of the old city. Not special but a safe bet.

Great selecion of local beers to offer on a hot day! The tagliata od bifteka I had was insanely good. Waiter was friendly and spoke great English which was helpful. Tables, cutlery, plates, etc, were all clean and nice too.

The first impression proves that the kitchen should be good - a lot of people queue to enter. But it was not so good. Rib eye steak was thin and deep-fried, but I ordered a medium rare; potatoes with bacon - I couldn't eat because they were too salty; grilled vegetables - burned. The rest of the group was also... Every year I visit this restaurant, almost the entire stay in Zadar we eat in this restaurant. The restaurant means - primarily serves the food, and then drink. I see some reviews of people who leave their impressions, because they wanted to just drink in the restaurant! Hello people !! And then allegedly dissatisfied. This restaurant serves authentic food, and... More

Nice location and clean tables are the only reason I gave 2 stars. Ordered 5 meals, 3 were terrible. Tuna overcooked, black risotto rice overcooked, calamari served cold. At the entrance 2 waiters were arguing and swearing so not a pleseant sight to see when you walk in. It is not a problem if you dont speak Croatian :). All... More

Malo Misto is the restaurant of a 40-year family tradition. It is located in the old town, just a few meters from the main square. The combination of the traditional and the modern will provide you with a great time on our beautiful outdoor terrace, which is an oasis of calm in the city centre. We work with local food producers and prepare food in a traditional way, grilled on charcoal. We will be happy to cook for you. Thank you for visiting us. Bon appetit!
