I thought the food here was excellent, and to be honest, I'd disagree with those who say it is pricey. Perhaps the prices per dish are slightly higher than the city centre, but not only should this be mitigated against the quality of the food, we were also served a beautiful appetizer before our meal and refreshing sorbet after our... We went there for team dinner and the food was really good. Both the starters and the main courses were excellent and there was plenty of food. However it was a bit pricey compared to other restaurants in L'viv

The Black Cat isn't in the city Centre, but it's worth the wander. If you're staying at the Lion's Castle hotel, it's just a couple of blocks down the hill,.Pleasant English pub-style atmosphere. Four decent-enough beers on tap (draft). Staff has sufficient English to keep your blood pressure down. Prices very reasonable by big-city (not El Cheapo backbacker) standards. Food... More

Delighted to see an "English Pub" in Lviv although not close to the centre. From the outside it looked very promising. Interior tries to emulate a British pub but, and here's the killer, no English beer! even in bottles. When I asked for an English beer I was shown the Guinness tap. Explained Guinness was Irish and just received a... More

Just had an amazing duck breast dish, and sea buckthorn tea! Violin and piano playing Gershwin, and other American songs. The weather is dark, cold, and gloomy outside, but it is so pleasant and cozy inside.

Extensive menu, well prepared and presented dishes, very good wine list, service is well up to western standards. Not your typical Ukrainian eatery.

The food was good traditional English pub with a Ukraine twist on some dishes.....The music could not be better, 3 piece; Violin, piano, and cello.....The cello and violin were outstanding, played some American theme songs that were outstanding. I offered tip they did not want to receive but I forced them due to the mastery of their music, made the... More
