This place is off the Kotor tourist path, quiet and relaxing. Food and service was outstanding. Our waiter, Dejan, described the dishes and made excellent suggestion for wine. Will return.

During a walking tour of Kotor we spied the Luna Rossa restaurant, just around the corner off the normal tour route. We found our way back after our tour and enjoyed a bottle of their local chardonnay along with a bowl of mussels. Our server Dejan (pardon the missing local phonetics) was as good as any high-end restaurant server, observing... More

Went for dinner here with my girlfriend as recommended on Trip Advisor. We weren't disappointed. A chilled and spacious restaurant with friendly staff and lovely food. We had the steak and grilled octopus as our main meals which were tasty and filling. A good selection of wines too.

Visited almost at the end of November, so it was definitely the off, off season! My husband and I popped in for an early light supper and were the only ones there. We obviously had attentive service and the food was delicious and reasonably priced along with beer and wine. We walked past only days later and the restaurant looked... More

Although definitely not the lively place that it must be in high season, we were treated well and our food selections were delicious. Being November, only the limited "winter" menu was available, although it proved to be sufficient to select an item that would please each one of us. Ordered foods included the Monte Cristo, a chicken and vegetable dish... More

After a wonderful time visiting Slovenia and Croatia we couldn't wait to complete our journey and visit Montenegro . The owner of our guest house: Milan was informative and extremely friendly. We visited a couple of bars and a small market in the afternoon. I'm not easily offended but I would suggest that we treated appallingly. I don't know why... More

There's a lot to choose from in Kotor so it may be difficult to sort them out. We were told that Luna Rossa was the place to go for oysters but none were available that day and the price hovered around 1 euro for 1 oyster for the missing bivalve. Luna Rosa still has good food. There is a nice... More

Found this place by chance. We've been in Kotor for a week and had lunch and dinner meals every day but tonight we found this place. So lucky! I grew up in Italy so I know what good food tastes like! I ordered classic tomato bruschetta as a starter and Montenegro steak as a main. I enjoyed EVERY SINGLE BITE!... More

Luna Rossa was recommended by our hotel and was absolutely the best restaurant that we came across in our week’s holiday here. Our group of four had a mixture of mussels, prawns, tuna and chicken and, without exception, all were fresh and excellent. Top ingredients were used and the flavours were just the best. Service was spot on, professional yet... More
