You just need to ensure you a table with a previous reservation if you want to have dinner in this restaurant (expecially during weekends), but you will enjoy a romantic and refined atmosphere. I appreciated the kind and careful service of the waiter and the...More
Very nice food, absolutely amazing setting. Set in a Dervish monastery, the interiors are beautiful. We had dinner on the flagged patio, on heavy carved wooden benches under beautiful awnings. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The greeter gave us a mini-tour, with discussions...More
After having a business lunch for 6 people we weren't allowed to pay with credit card. View the location of the place, it suppose to go downtown to the nearest ATM, get the money and then go back to the restaurant. Service very poor. Some...More
The food we had was fairly good. I had the trout and my fiancé and the "Bulgarian Specialty." The atmosphere was very traditional and really gives you a feel for the old part of the city. The service was very slow.
We had a delightful late lunch on a warm sunny day in late October. There waiter was very helpful with suggestions and seemed to enjoy practicing his English. We enjoyed the grape leaves as well as a wonderful Bulgarian salad.

The restaurant is in good location if you don't need taxi.. The food was OK. The only big problem was that they served us after 2 hours waiting time. They have only one cook, that is doing everything.
The food is very taste yet quite light on stomach as well as pocket. Will visit again if i get a chance. Conveniently located as well
This is a very large place; we dined outdoors on a lovely evening. The food was delicious traditional Bulgarian cuisine. There were some different menu items---Thracian salad----delicious! The lamb was yummy; good Bulgarian wine. A nice view of Plovdiv from the terrace.
