If you want to get proper organic food and a real value for money this is the place to go. The management is making a great effort to serve quality food for a demanding customer seeking fresh products. Good customer service and nice company.

Always have a wonderful time when i visit. Delicious organic produce made into tasty food. Donation based lunch on Sundays btw 11am and 3pm is a total treat and also a great spot to meet up with all sorts of expats living here long term. They offer an amazing weekly box full of organic fruit and veg too, delivery to your door for free. All set in great decor and Mandalay based artists regular show their work here too. Whats not to love?

Absolutely go there! It is a place full ofq heart and wonderful food. They are always super accomodating towards our toddler. We eat here on a regular basis. It is wonderful fusion food with an emphasis on Asia cusine. In addition ingredients are locally sourced.

I feel like I’m missing something- my partner and I were so excited to go to this restaurant due to great reviews but we were very disappointed with their food. The staff were lovely, the lady who was serving us was super nice (so 5 stars to her!). Just to give an idea, we really are not picky eaters. We’ve been travelling South East Asia for the last 4 months and stayed in Nepal, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, trying tons of local street and restaurant food. We were also quite hungry after our flight so we ordered hummus, pumpkin soup and spicy falafel curry. We just ate a few bites and had to leave it. Both dishes tasted like water (neither salt nor pepper helped the case), texture was gritty. The lovely waitress was so apologetic (said the kitchen was busy) and offered us new plates of food. We gave it a go, it was a bit better (the soup was definitely nicer, it was a bean soup this time, still quite plain but tastier than the previous), the curry was slightly better texture but definitely not spicy, after ton of salt it was ok. It is our day one in Myanmar so we are hoping this was just an off day to this restaurant and not a reflection on Burmese food. However, due to this experience- we will not be back. :(

In this hot, dusty and noisy city Mandalay has become The Window Café is simply an oasis. They have got music by Bob Marley, though they also have mediocre American rock music. I't all alternetive and eco. The Cappucino is pretty good though not brillant. The same applies for the food. The stuff has been lovely when I was there.

Ordered a breakfast with hummus, eggs and homemade bread. I liked the bread and the eggs. The hummus wasn’t bad but too liquid in my opinion. My friend took a panini with cheese and tomatoes. It was pretty good! Will come back for dinner.

We didn't expect to find such a modern and alternative place in Mandalay. Apart from the place, the food is fresh, light and tasty. The staff smiling and friendly. Recommended!

Three of us visited here, and after eating were badly sick for the next two days. The food was actually nice, but I sensed that the water served in a jug was not right and we seriously paid the price with sickness.

Good variety of food here of good quality, from Burmese to Western! It has a nice ambience - I can stay here for hours! The staff here speak some English and are friendly and helpful. You also get to find out how the cafe supports the local community in different ways!

I am an expat living here, and i will admit to eating here 2 or 3 times a week. The food is fantastic, and incredibly healthy. A little more expensive than local places, but most definitely worth it.

Everything we tried was great, food is delicious, not so expensive. The owner and the cook are just awesome people with a story to tell, very friendly and proud of their business. They figured out everything : serving organic food, helping out other community by advertising them, the ambiance of the restaurant is so chill, nice music handmade decoration... You have to try it :)

The food was simply great, tasty, full of flavours and not too spicy, the host is really friendly and has an amazing story to tell! He also helps local associations for people in need in Mandalay! Go there, you will not regret it! 😊
