Another popular restaurant with tourists in Luang Prabang, this one serves a good selection of Laotian foods as well. Would recommend the food, for sure. Courtyard is a pretty setting for dinner, but this place gets crowded due to its popularity, so do book beforehand if you want a courtyard table.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was nice and the food was good! We really enjoyed ordering the sticky rice, rolling it into balls, and dipping it in the Laos Jaew sauce with buffalo skin. It’s great if you like spicy food.

We had fresh coconuts for drinks. We had fried vegetarian spring rolls.I had Tom Som Panin - a sour mekong fish soup with acacia leaves, chilis, tomatoes, spring onions oyster mushrooms and lemongrass. This dish was flavorful, aromatic, tasty and good. My wife had Pad thai with shrimp -- very good. Service was good and friendly.

We ate here twice when in Luang Prabang a couple of years ago. The fish I had was one of the nicest meals I have ever eaten. I had buffalo sausage which was like a regular European sausage but Buffalo. Last night we returned to the Coconut Garden. The fish dish was no longer available, okay menus change, so I order the Buffalo sausage. Not at all nice. More like Blood sausage with a tough skin and a crumbly interior. The steamed rice on the side was severely over cooked . Had I cooked it at home I would have binned it and started again. My wife had a Margarita Pizza. Strange ,obviously shop bought base and no Basil. In fact no herbs at all.it was basically cheese on toast. Margarita Pizza ,three ingredients , you really can't miss one out.

Nice place, with a front and rear yards. It has a large menu with laosiano, Asian and western option, as well very good vegetarian meals. Also a large menu of drinks, including very good wine options.

Great setting, poor service, ok food. We have dined here many times in the past few years. Tonight was not so good. It could have been so much better. The meals were just ok the vino was great and the bread was stale. Not up the standard we would expect from such experienced restaurant operators.

Located on the main street near the end of the Night Market, Coconut Garden was a great introduction to Lao cuisine. Loved everything we had though we ordered too much and left the place stuffed but very happy.

Very average food and service, garden is attractive. We felt it was the worst meal we had. Go elsewhere

Loved our meal here, yummy spaghett bolognaise! Lovely setting with nice garden in the back. Was complete full that evening, so I think they do a good business!

It is a big restaurant , that welcomes a large number of people. That might be something against the quietness you would expect, but the staff is nice and the food is very good.

Our tour guide recommended here and it didn't disappoint. Enjoyed the Oceana salad. So fresh. No sauce. Great value. Friendly service, and just tucked off the main street. Perfect.

Great tasting menus to choose from and exceptional service made this one of our favorite meals in Luang Prabang. The pumpkin soup was divine.
