A little on the expensive side, but totally worth it. The service was great and one chilly night when we were sitting at one of the outdoor tables they brought each table a set of hot coals and set it next to the table! Great touch and kept us nice and warm. Some of the best garlic bread I have... More

Highly rated on TA, but undeservingly so. In an expensive town this is an expensive place. It is very pleasant to sit here, with much locale flair. Service is very attentive and good, but I come mainly because of the (French) food. And here it is lacking, unfortunately. The breakfast offers their nice rustic bread but every single item except... Best of all their tarts are half price after 9:00pm. The quality of the tarts is excellent and the coffee great.

For a petite restaurant it was quite cozy. It was well staffed and had very diligent service. It's also a branch of 3 other higher end restaurants in town; therefore, I came with some expectations. For a city like Luang Prabang I'd say this is above average dining. I ordered the tartines au conard a la moutarde - Service was... More

Fabulous lunch of baguettes and coffee. Just a lovely place to while away an afternoon- busy though, so go early.

3 years ago I liked it better. It's only slightly above average now in terms of good food (panini was too simply made, not a real cook's work). Service seemed rather unmotivated. Interior however is very nice.

went for lunch after being turned away the previous day due to no booking. I had a ham and cheese sandwich which was good but again, how can you mess a ham and cheese sandwich? My parents were pleased with their salads and the deserts - coconut flan and banana tatin were to die for. Free wifi when you ask... More

Wonderful café to sit and watch the world go by. We enjoyed a chocolate croissant and potted pork both of which were tasty and served with a smile.

In our first day in LP. after more than ten days travelling through SeA, all we wanted was to have some Western food, before delighting ourselves with Laotian snacks. This place was a great choice for that. My Croque Monsieur was really good and the lemon pie was precious. Wish I had tried the tartines as well.

Unfortunately my partner and I experienced our worst coffee yet in Laos here. Perhaps a 'once-off' but both coffees were so burnt and watery that I just cannot see how they left the counter. In need of some coffee making training.

Thank Domandrose
