Le Banneton is a great place in Luang Prabang, especially if you are French and/or French food lover. It offers a great range of viennoiseries & pâtisseries at a very friendly price. You can also head there for lunch ; the staff is kind & prompt, the food is fresh & tasty, and you can either be seated inside or... More

This is a pleasant french bakery in the old town, with a delicious range of breads and pastries. Baguettes of wild boar pate were tasty and different.

I stopped on this place early in the morning by chance. Centrally located, Le Banneton has some of the best pastries that I've ever had. I frequently visit France, so I can confidently say that the product Le Banneton offers a phenomenal selection of coffee, pastries, tartines, and miscellaneous breakfast foods. Great place!!

The residue of France's Indochina empire fill this cafe. Delicious pastries and a perfect shady spot opposite one of the main temples

Amazing food! The salads are hugh and amazing tasting, the lasagna also comes with salad, and the bread is as you were in France! I really recommend to check this place out! Not disappointing at all!

Le Banneton is easy to find on LPQ's main artery. Located in a pretty old colonial era building it offers a good variety of food: Lao to French and salads to full meals. The salads alone are fabulous. The lettuce and other veg are freshly picked. The "salade campagnarde" (peasant salad) is as good as any in Belgium or France,... More

The croissants and iced coffee were great. The outside seats are great to chill, to day-dream and watch people. It is definitely a significant cafe to have a taste of the Lao-French ambience.
