This place is quite stylish and the coffee is good. Quite often the coffee here is either too weak, or more often, too strong. We had iced cappuccino & it was very good.

Since I was last in LPB it has re-opened, but seems the same as before. Grand building, with seating inside and out. Nice staff, good (iced) coffee. Toilets spotlessly clean Only downside was that they now serve the iced coffee in horrid plastic disposable cups rather than nice glasses.

We had coffee here as our afternoon tea. The service is slow as there seemed to be shortage of staffs. The coffee is just average at best and nothing to shout about. You can get much better coffee in Thailand or Vietnam. It opened around noon time till late evening. Seemed to be closed on Sunday. The prices here are... More

Stepping inside I would have thought I was in a coffee or tea room in somewhere like London or Paris by the decor of the coffee shop. Lovely comfortable velvet lounges as well as the table and chairs. They have a small food menu as well as coffee teas and hot chocolate and cold drinks. I only ordered a hot... More

Set in a vintage building of late 1940's the atmosphere was very relaxing. We were there for breakfast and the afternoon it was so good and not far from the market. Good service great coffee and wide range of foods selection on the menu (Steam Buns ect.) open 07:00-21:00. AAA++

Dao Coffee is the best place in town to sit down and relax for a while especially when you need to escape from the Lao heat. It is a lot quieter than Joma and the price is much more reasonable. Best of all, the coffee itself is great. I'll be back.

Coffee is quite good, from the highland of Southern Lao and produced by a very big family operation. Decor is pleasant if a little precious, management tries hard, staff try harder, food is much better these days. They used to fly in anemic little pale cakes from Bangkok but now they do some well-presented Vietnamese dishes. These are not dirt... More

We are regularly eating here every sunday lunch. We love Name Neung which is the same as fresh vietnamese spring roll wrap with vegetables, rice noodle, and grilled pork. Dip with the sauce. The other one that we love is the rice noodle soup with fresh fish. But we also found out lately that Lao Food here are not too... More
