The food was absolutely tasty. Cook by local Chefs. The owner is newly married this year. He's reliable for ordering to fill your hungry belly.

Found this cafe by accident as it is located near my hotel. Good selections of food, Asian & Western. Good portion and price was quite reasonable too. Tiger beer was hard to find at Luang Prabang but found it here, which was nice.

This is now the Namkhong Cafe and is actually located on the corner of Khem Khong and Ounheun Rd - about 2 blocks downstream from where Trip Advisor shows it. If you look up Namkhong Cafe you will find that shown on a non-existent street. All this is a pity really as it is a great cafe and worth the... More

Really lovely little cafe, just across from the river. Food is cheap and decently sized. The fruit shakes are amazing. Be aware if you're ordering cocktails that the waitresses are pretty happy to over pour the shots, and they're STRONG drinks, but good! Eaten here a few times. Good strong wifi. A little walk back from the main tourist street... More

Location of the Cafe is 2 blocks upriver from incorrect (current) location. Cafe has given us very good meals and drinks (cocktails and fruit shakes) - with the exception of the vegetarian spring rolls which had too many herbs. Location is nice, and down a side road from the tourist Street. The location being a bit away from the tourist... More

Went to the location where Mekong Cafe is supposed to be according to the tripadvisor map, but it wasn't there (or anywhere near). Lots of nice riverside restaurants in this location though. Went to a small one named voulez vous. Nice athmosphere, good coffee and food.
