We had the baked Camembert and pork medallions and it was absolutely delicious! It is a little pricey but definitely worth it.

This was our first visit to Luang Prabang and we totally fell in love with the place. Tangor bar quickly became our favourite evening haunt with its quirky interior and distinctly French flavour. A great place to sit and people watch, enjoy great food or just relax over a Beer Lao, a glass of wine or a perfect cocktail. The... More

This Café/Bar without doubt for me has the nicest atmosphere here. It features a wooden interior and the upstairs balcony seats offer an exciting view over Luang Prabangs mainstreet.

Nice French bar serving great food. The green pepper hummous and the fish ceviche were delicious. We went there two consecutive nights because the music selection was good. We had the duck, fish pappilote and the steak. The cocktails were generously mixed. Tarte tartine and the lava chocolate cake are to die for

Went after reading all the great reviews, but the food was just average. The ceviche was average- way to many flavours/herbs overpowering the whole thing so you couldn't taste the fish, it could have been made with tofu and you'd be none the wiser. I also think the fish had been sitting too long in the lime/lemon juice as it... More

We went on 8 May. Cocktails sitting outside followed by dinner in the restaurant. A fairly limited menu, however the food was very good - the 'fish en papillote' in particular. Good ambience and the background music unobtrusive. Quite expensive for the area, but a step up from some of the lao-style restaurants.

This was the best restaurant we visited over our 3 week family holiday to Indochina. Its not often you can have a 3 course meal for 4 adults (12 dishes) and every single one was of a high standard. We just had to share each others meal as it was just so good. The friendly service, music, ambience and everything... More

Efficient (francophone, if desired) service, interesting, well cooked food selections, good drink selection, great location, and laid back background music to enhance the atmosphere. Great place, right on the main street in the old town. Probably my favourite of all the (many) restaurants and bars in the area.
